Sheer lace top stockings with garterbelt - stockings discontinued by Leg Avenue - review by Lady Bear

I received the Sheer Lace Top Stockings with Attached Lace Garterbelt by Leg Avenue. This is my first pair of stocking with attached garterbelt so I wasn't sure what to expect. I'm fairly satisfied with these stockings, they aren't outstanding in any way but they get the job done.

Packaging/Care/Material




They come in the basic Leg Avenue package wrapped around a cardboard insert. The package has the name of the product and a picture of the product on both sides. In the top left corner it has the style number, the size: One Size, and the suggested weight: 90-160 LBS. The care instructions are listed on the bottom of the package. Hand wash, use only non-chlorine bleach when needed, line dry, and do not iron.
These are 100% Nylon and are made in Taiwan.

Measurements

I'm a bit heavier than the suggested weight (90-160lbs) but these stockings do fit me.

Garterbelt:
Laying flat = 11" (22" total)
Stretched = 19" (38" total)
Width = 3"

Straps:
Un-stretched = 7"
Stretched = 14"
Width = 1"

Thigh Band:
Laying Flat = 7" (14" total)
Stretched = 13" (26" total)
Width = 1 1/4"

*These measurements were taken after I had tried the stockings on. They do stay stretched out a bit after you wear them.

My measurements:
Just above my hip bones (where I wear the garterbelt) = 36"
Hips at the widest point = 43"
Thighs = 23"
Inseam = 35"
Weight = 165lbs

Design/Comfort/Quality




The design of the stockings and garterbelt is very elegant. The garterbelt is made of lace that has flowers and whimsical swirls on it. There is one seam down the back of the garterbelt and four small seams at the bottom where the straps connect.



The straps are lace and have a good amount of stretch to them. They are securely sewn to the garterbelt and the thigh bands. There is a strap in the front and the back for each leg.




The thigh bands are made of soft lace with a flower design. They have two seams at the top where they connect to the straps. They have a small seam down the back and a seam where they connect to the sheer stockings. The stocking material is very light weight and delicate. They are slightly reinforced at the toes and just under the thigh band.



The comfort and quality of this item is average. They are comfortable for the first couple of hours but then they start to get itchy. The seams on the garterbelt and thigh bands haven't been noticeable at all. The garterbelt and thigh bands tend to roll when I sit. The stockings are so delicate that I got a few snags in them the first time I wore them. Rough shoes will snag them, sitting on any coarse material will snag them, and even leg stubble will snag them. The seam and lace seem to be holding up fine so far.

I wore these around quite a bit before writing my review. They can be used as crotch-less stockings in the bedroom, or they can be worn under a nice dress to a wedding. These stockings have held up for the most part. The only problems I've had are with the delicate stocking material and putting them on for the first time. They can get twisted so make sure they are in order before putting them on. :)
