Pink gown with g-string - gown discontinued by Fantasy Lingerie - review by darthkitt3n

I had been eying the pink mesh gown for quite a while. Though, every time I thought to look at it, my size was out of stock, if not one or two more sizes as well. When I checked it again a few weeks ago, it was in stock, so I ordered it. After measuring myself, I settled on the size large gown.

Usually when I order lingerie, I feel worried about the actual sizes of everything. Just because I measured myself doesn’t mean the manufacturer actually made the thing to fit a woman with my dimensions. However, I was pleased to find that the pink mesh gown fit just right. My chest is a bit small at a B cup, but unlike some clothing, the black lace bra fit perfectly. The halter fit comfortably at the back of my neck. The rest of the gown also lay against me pretty comfortably. Oddly, though, the gown is a lot longer than what is shown on the mannequin. It goes to the floor when I put it on, and I am 5’8” tall. You would have to be a bit over 6 feet tall for the gown to actually be a few inches off the floor. The body of the gown has open sides from the bust line down. There is a big black satin bow on the middle of the bust line that adds to the prettiness.

The material is a very soft mesh and lace combination. The bra and gown are all one piece and pretty easy to put on. The thong is made of a black lace front panel with elastic bands on it. The manufacturer put the tag for the thong in a pretty uncomfortable place, though. It is right in the middle of the lace panel along the seam of the waistband. It’s a kind of rough plastic tag and the location is pretty annoying and makes my stomach feel kind of itchy. The gown itself is all pink mesh with the black lace bra attached to it. It is a small bit of a hassle to figure out, but because of how the gown is made, it can’t really be put on over a separate bra.

I wash the gown and thong by hand in my sink. I also throw it in the dryer on an extremely gentle cycle. I wouldn’t recommend drying it unless you have a lot of cycle options. I keep the gown hung up in my closet and the thong in my underwear drawer.

When my boyfriend saw this the first time, his eyes just about popped out of his head. He really enjoys the feel of the fabric against his body, so I tease him with it by slowly undressing him and rubbing up against him. The gown is not very easy to take off once you get in bed and do not feel like getting back out to take it off, but I would imagine it would get in the way if it was left on during sex.

I highly recommend this gown to anyone who wants to give lingerie a try. It is pretty and flattering to the body and is not too expensive. And if you don’t like pink, there is a blue version as well.

Wearing glitter body spray, like the Sugar Mama body spray, really adds to this gown. Any sort of flavored body powder with glitter would as well.

I still love this gown. Whenever I put it on, my boyfriend's eyes get as big as they did the first time he saw me in it. I do kind of feel like I would prefer the blue/turquoise one right now, since I have red hair and the beginnings of a tan. The pink seems to clash a bit.

The gown has held up pretty well so far and so has the thong. I keep the gown hung up in my closet to keep it wrinkle free.
