Paisley pleasure chemise and g-string - chemise discontinued by Seven 'til Midnight - review by Breas

The Paisley Pleasure Chemise and G-String by Seven ‘til Midnight is available in sizes S-3X/4X. I ordered the size XL. The outfit arrived folded within a clear, plastic bag. The only thing on the packaging was a small barcode sticker. It is not ideal for storage. I just keep my outfit in a drawer.

There was a cardboard tag attached to the chemise with a photo of a model wearing the outfit and stated the company name, company website, and size of outfit. The chemise and g-string are 90% nylon and 10% spandex. The material has a bit of stretch to it and the outfit is sheer.



I’ve taken measurements of the chemise and g-string laying flat, unstretched. If you need additional measurements, send me a message and I can get them for you.

G-String
Waistband unstretched: 15 ½ inches
Waistband stretched as much as I could: 25 ¾ inches
Width of widest part of material that covers your front area: 7 inches
Length of liner: just less than 3 inches

Chemise
Cup length: 5 inches
Cup width: 6 inches
Chest (armpit to armpit): 17 inches
Adjustable shoulder strap length: 8 ¾ - 16 inches
Waist: 16 inches
Bottom of chemise width: 18 ½ inches
Length (armpit to bottom): 19 inches

The chemise has hook and eye closures at the centre back. The measurements above were with the hook and eye closures done up on the loosest fit. There are 3 columns of hooks with 2 hooks in each column. The columns are ½ an inch from each other. The shoulder straps are stretchy and adjustable but they are not detachable.

The cups to the chemise have underwire but no padding in them. Since the cups don’t have any lining to them they are sheer. There is a seam line that runs up the centre of each cup. Both cups have a very tiny ruffle trim to them. The trim along the top of the cups is ¼ of an inch. There is a piece of fabric running down the chemise from beneath the cups. They look like boning covers but there is actually no boning to the piece.

There is soft mesh ruffle trim that runs along the bottom of the chemise. The trim goes all the way around the chemise and has a length of 1 ½ inches. There are also tiered mesh ruffles on the bum. There are 4 ruffles on the bum (not including the bottom trim). The ruffles on the bum vary in length between 2 ¼ - 2 ¾ inches each. The entire length of the area is 8 inches.



The chemise has 4 adjustable, detachable garter straps: 2 in the front and 2 in the back. They sit behind the ruffle trim. It’s nice that the straps can be removed that way if you prefer to wear the chemise without stockings, it won’t look weird having them dangling from the bottom of the piece.



The garter strap length is adjustable from 4 ½ -7 inches. The bottom of each garter strap has a rubber backing and plastic clip that is used to attach to the thigh high. The black rubber back and plastic piece is covered by a thin piece of purple ribbon. Stockings are not included with this chemise.

The g-string is trimmed with elastic band and the material at the front of the g-string is a soft mesh. It’s purple in colour with a lining in the crotch. The material of the g-string matches the ruffle trim at the bottom of the chemise and ruffles on the bum.



Both panty and chemise fit me really well. The g-string has the width to cover the front area well. My hip measurement is 41 inches and the g-string stretched to fit nicely. The length of the chemise worked well for me.

I’m 5’6 in height and the bottom of the chemise fell right at the bottom of my bum. When walking around, the chemise did creep up a little bit. I didn’t wear stockings with the chemise though so wearing the garters may help hold the chemise in place.

My C cups fit well into the chemise. The XL outfit would fit a C-D cup best. The lines that run down the front of the piece are nice because the vertical lines lengthen the body. I really like the way it fits and looks. It’s comfortable as well. I did not experience any skin irritation while wearing the outfit. The care tag states that the outfit should be hand washed in cold water and line dried. The outfit should not be bleached or ironed.

Overall, I’m really happy with this outfit. Purple is my favourite colour, it fits well, it’s comfortable, and it’s a very good price. I also really love the ruffles on the bum. When I wear the outfit, I just want to shake my bum to make the ruffles shake. Weird but true! I’d recommend this outfit to others and it’s great that it’s available in a wide variety of sizes!
