Hear me roar chemise - chemise discontinued by Seven 'til Midnight - review by MissCara

As with all "plus size" lingerie that I buy, I'm always excited and equally nervous. There's nothing worse than sliding into a super cute outfit only to learn that it is not "curve friendly". When I first opened the package for the "Hear me roar" chemise, I was a little taken aback at how sheer the outfit seemed in the light. I was sure that when I put it on that it would be completely see-through. Happily this wasn't the case, although being African-American, it could just be that the outfit's color blended more with my skin. It might still prove too sheer for lighter skin tones.

The material of this outfit is sheer as I stated but also stretchy. When I put it on, it hugged my curves but didn't cling to them in a bad way. The top was a lot shorter than I expected and fit more like a spaghetti strap style shirt when I first put it on. I was able to stretch it to fit lower (more like the pictures) but it rode up whenever I walked. I did have a "wardrobe malfunction" while bending over where one of my breasts slipped out of the top, but I adjusted the halter top portion to fit a little bit tighter and I was pleased. The matching G-String was also cute and very stretchy. Even after putting it on I could stretch it almost double its size, so those of you with bigger bottoms like me shouldn't have to worry about it fitting. The one complaint that I had with the underwear was the long pink tag that would poke out from the front and side. It could also slightly be seen through the sheerness of the underwear. I solved this problem by CAREFULLY cutting the tag off of the underwear.

All and all I'm happy with the outfit. It fit me fairly well, but those with a bigger bust (I'm a 38B) or larger frame (I'm pear shaped) might not have the best experience trying this outfit on. This is not the type of outfit I'd wear out, even to a costume party, but it's great for a sexy romp in the jungle of your bedroom. Just know you will have to keep pulling the top down if you want it to fit like a "dress" while walking. If you're looking for an affordable, sexy and comfortable outfit to have some fun in, this is it!

This is one of my favorite outfits. It's still very comfortable, and it hasn't torn up in the washing machine, or shrunk. I love how flattering this is on my body, too!
