Lace ruffled bra and rhumba panties - bra and panty set discontinued by Leg Avenue - review by dlw

Number one: I love ruffles. So this bra and panty set is super cute in my opinion. This set from Leg Avenue arrive in a simple cellophane bag, nothing fancy.

MATERIAL: 100% nylon with satin ribbon side ties.

FIT/SIZE: This set is labeled one size fits most. I am 5'8", 120 lbs, 34B, and wear size 3(ish). For me the set was perfect. There is no padding or underwire. It's all you! For women who have larger breasts who need more support, this might not be the set for you! I'd say it is made for small to medium frame women.

The bra is white mesh with 2 black lace ruffles along the bust line and a small black ribbon bow between the breasts. The mesh is very see through and will offer an excellent show of boobies for whoever is viewing. The straps measure 24 inches flat around and stretches about 10 additional inches. The cups are 4 inches from top to bottom 6.5 inches wide. The shoulder straps are adjustable and the back has a double hook closure with 3 positions to choose from.

The panties are string bikini style. They are the same white mesh material as the bra. They measure 6 inches across the front and 10 inches across the back (at waist). From the top of the waist in front to the top in back (including the ya ya strip) is 15 inches. There are 2 black satin ribbon ties on both sides (4 total) all measuring 17 inches long. These side ties allow you to adjust the size of the panty and, well, keep them on. The panty panels have elastic in the waist but don't stretch that much. Instead the strings are the main source to adjust the fit.

On the front of the panty is a small black ribbon bow that matches the bow on the bra. On the back are 12 black lace ruffles that also match the ruffles on the bra top. The ruffles pretty much cover the whole back of the panties. This is my favorite part!

CARE: The tag says hand wash and tumble dry. I think these can be washed with other delicates in the washing machine on a low setting if you are really careful. I'm pretty sure both pieces can be stored in a drawer with your other lingerie pieces and be just fine. Nylons are generally tough and don't tend to wrinkle.

CAUTION: With all of the ruffles on these pieces, I wouldn't suggest wearing them under clothing for a night out. Instead they might be worn more for the perfect teenage girl movie scene where you sit around with your girlfriends in your underwear, doing each others hair, eating ice cream, having pillow fights, and talking about boys... LIKE THAT REALLY HAPPENS. But seriously, don't wear them under your jeans.

I tried this on for my boyfriend. I had him help me tie the sides on the panty and then when he looked at the top his eyes went big and he smiled. He asked me to step back and turn around so he could see it all. Yes, the white mesh is VERY see-through! Since he helped tie the sides he asked if he could help untie them. Aren't side tie bikini bottoms fun?!

Like most panties and bras, this set is starting to look a little worn after several washes. The satin ties and ruffles aren't as fresh as when I first received them. But I still think they are super dang cute!
