I love the design of these. The are flirty and feminine, but the ruffles weren't designed well. They make it so the underwear don't stretch. This creates muffin top which isn't sexy. These really need to be designed better.

I loved these from the moment I stumbled upon them on the website. I love the idea of lingerie that isn't black and include the least amount of fabric as possible. This is a really cute panty, but has some serious design flaws that make them not really worth it in my opinion.
I had to have these and added them to my next order. I had some issues deciding what size to buy because I am kind of in between Seven Til Midnight's 1X/2X and 3X/4X. I am about 5'10" and a size 20-22. My hip runs about 52" when I am having a fat day. I have a very perky and full butt. I ordered the larger size.
Their chart for the 3X/4X is:

I tried these on and I was surprised at how little stretch there is. The blue ruffles are sewn on in such a way that it looses the stretch of the fabric. This creates a muffin top on me at the waist. I am barely a 3X on a chubby day according to their size chart.
These also show a lot of cheek on me. Ladies with less butt may find these more modest, but on me they are quite showy.
Almost all lingerie is made from delicate and light weight fabrics. This panty specifically is made from a polyester and spandex blend. Polyester doesn't handle high heat well, so I dry flat. i also wash it on delicate in the washing machine. The tag recommends that you should machine was cold, line dry, and don't bleach.
These are more see through than they looked on the website. It is still really cute, just be warned that they will be sheer and probably create muffin top.

So I have worn these a few more times... and I am still having problems with them. I love how they look, but in the end my rear doesn't fit right. I have also lost about 20 lbs, so I realize I may need a smaller size.
This panty requires a lot of careful consideration to purchasing the right size, and hoping that the high cut is compatible with your shape.
I will still wear these, but not often.

You mention that the ruffles don't allow for stretch but the ruffles are only at the back. The panties I received have quite a bit of stretch to them. I'm just so sad you didn't have the same experience as me. There must be a difference between the XL and 3X/4X because I didn't experience any of this! Sorry to hear this hun!
