Mesh bikini set - bra and panty set discontinued by Baci - review by SkylarrStarr

I am so thrilled to add this black and red mesh bikini set by Baci to my collection. I have been eyeing it for some time and was fortunate enough to be able to snap it up for my monthly assignment. While this set might not work for every size and shape, it is worth a try for small to average sized girls.

Packaging:
The mesh bikini set comes packed like all Baci lingerie. The slim cardboard box holds a plastic sleeve containing an insert and the product itself. If careful, this box and insert can be used for storage which would keep the items clean between uses. This also makes it easy to locate in a cramped lingerie drawer like I have. It can be recycled if you choose not to keep it.





Material/Construction/Style:
The set I have is black and red mesh with a star print. It is also available in black and hot pink, with a heart pattern as well as solid baby pink with black trim. The material is very sheer and soft to the touch. Even though it is quite soft it still felt durable. The red trim along the cups and sides of the panties is gathered, giving it a sweet and flirty look. A small red satin bow sits at the center front of the panties. The triangle style top does not have an underwire, so there is no support to it. The top also features two layers of mesh as well as gathering along the bottom of the cups. Thin, red, elastic is used for the halter and back ties of the top as well as the sides and thong portion of the bottoms. I noticed that the back closure of the top appears to be different on the package than how it actually comes. On the package, the back appears to have an adjustable strap, not a tie. The sides of the thong are adjustable, making it wearable by various sizes. The coverage the bottoms offer is very minimal, and there is no cotton liner in them. This set is constructed from 90% Polyester and 10% Spandex so it has a fair amount of stretch to it. As you can see in the photos the tags are poorly placed and I would suggest removing them before wearing. I did not find any construction issues, like tears or loose threads with this piece.





Fit/Measurements:
Sadly, as with almost all Baci pieces, this bikini set is only available in one size. This singular size is supposed to fit up to a 14. I wear a 34D/size 8 and this set fit me fairly well. The cups felt a bit narrower than other Baci sets I have, so larger breasted women might have an issue with this. They look much wider in the photo on the packaging. The cups could also appear a bit baggy on those with a smaller bust. The thong fit me well and did not ride up or bunch. I still had room to make the side straps larger or smaller. It is possible the bottoms would fit up to a size 14 but the top might not be a good fit, depending on cup size. I think it would be an awkward fit on anything larger than a D.

Care:
The packaging states that this set can be machine washed in warm water. A non-chlorine bleach can be used, but only if truly necessary. It can be tumble-dried on a low setting. It can also be hand washed and hung to dry. It should not be dry cleaned.

I found this set to be comfortable to wear. I wish that the cups were a bit further apart or a touch wider. But other than that, this piece was a great find. I am looking forward to wearing it often in the future.

This little set is so flattering. I love the design and color combination. It was a hit with my boyfriend as well. Another winner from Baci!
