Packaging:
The Dutch Chocolate Chemise arrives on a plastic hanger and is inside a clear, plastic garment bag. It is appropriate for gift giving, but I would rather remove the bag and hanger to place it in a tissue lined gift bag. (A set of the Cake Bath Foam and Lotion and a small box of chocolates would complete the gift bag.)

Details:
The top is a striped lace pattern in rich, dark chocolate color. There are roses and leaves embroidered into the lace in a shimmery golden tone on the top and bottom of the lace bust panel. The bust panel has an elastic band sewn into the top to keep it in place and it does work very well. This might stretch out after many, many uses. The lace is sheer and will allow your nipples to show, a factor my hubby was definitely not complaining about!

The skirt has a light flare to it and reaches the top to mid thigh, depending on how I have the top positioned. It is a sheer, fine, mesh that is also a deep, rich chocolate color. There is a finishing satin stitch hem also in the same color along the bottom. This makes the chemise look finished and adds to the quality of the lingerie.

The lace and seams all match us very well, there are no damaged or shoddy seams and no loose threads. Overall, the quality of this lingerie is very good. The design is beautiful and the fit is excellent.

Material:
The Dutch Chocolate Chemise material is pretty thin and sheer, it is a blend of 89% Nylon and 11% Elastane. There is quite a bit of stretch to the material, guaranteeing a good fit for many different body types. It does not wrinkle and is easy to care for and store.

Care & Storage:
Hand wash in cool water with a mild detergent. Hang this up and let it air dry, a dryer will destroy the fabric. You may iron this on low temperature if need be. Do not wring this out! This will wrinkle the material and break down its elastic properties.

I hang this in my closet, but you could easily fold it and place it in a lingerie drawer as well. This would be a great item to take when traveling, since the material has a low wrinkle factor. It also condenses to a very small item when folded properly and will not take up too much room in your luggage.

Fit:
The top stays in place!! I have never had these stay put and they always have slipped down and had to be tugged back into place. Fully expecting to play the old tugging game, I was very ecstatic that this was not the issue with this chemise! Excellent design work on Escante's part.

Under the top band, the skirt of the chemise was flowing and flattering. It highlighted my curves and hid my pooch very well. Flattering with soft material, this is comfortable, sexy and functional. I also wore this as a skirt with a bra for added versatility. I would not suggest wearing this in public since the whole chemise is very thin and sheer.

The amazing detail of this outfit is that it really does stay in place and does not fall down over the breasts!! A fact that many of us larger breasted women are going to adore! I rarely get brown, but the rich chocolate color and gold accents are amazing and elegant together!!
