DreamGirl manufactures the Strappy Stretch Lace Teddy. The brand DreamGirl manufactures both lingerie and costumes. Over thirty distributors worldwide sell DreamGirl products, and the company pioneered light up, reversible, and quick change costumes for women.

*Included pieces and available options*
The only included piece is the teddy. It is one size fits most and it is only available in black.

*Material*
The Strappy Stretch Lace Teddy is made of ninety percent nylon and ten percent spandex.

The black lace has a floral and vine pattern. It is a fairly soft lace, and is only a tiny bit itchy. The lace is, as you might expect, very stretchy. The lace is sheer, so your nipples and whatever else will be visible in this garment. I suspect that it may tear if handled too roughly because there was already some fraying when I took the garment out of the package.

The straps, halter tie, and crotch trim are a thicker, coarser material. They are not as comfortable as the lace, but they are not bad. This material is also very stretchy.

*Design and craftsmanship*
The Strappy Stretch Lace teddy has a halter tie top and a snap crotch, thong bottom. It is open backed and there is little to no breast support.

The lace portion of the garment consists of a six-inch wide band that covers each breast and wraps around the body, exposing about two thirds of the back. There is a small triangle of lace on the front of the thong. Portions of the lace were fraying at the edges prior to the first wear.

There are three thin straps on either side of the front of the teddy, running from the bottom of the lace portion to the top of the thong. They can be a bit unflattering to the hips. It takes some maneuvering to get the straps to lie properly, and they bunch up if your torso is not straight.

The thong bottom has a small panty liner towards the front and a mesh portion that goes between your cheeks. The band is a bit thick, so it may be uncomfortable. The snap crotch is an interesting feature because it enables you to have sex while wearing the garment. The crotch has two small snaps that are not visible when the crotch is closed. The snaps do not open and close as easily as I would like. There is only a thin layer of mesh between the back of the snaps and your privates, but I do not really notice them when wearing the teddy.

*Sizing*
The Strappy Stretch Lace teddy is one size fits most. According to the DreamGirl size chart, it should fit anyone within the following ranges:

I assume, based on the listed weight range, that your 9-year-old can also wear this teddy. Unfortunately, I do not believe this garment will fit plus-size women or women with larger breasts.

My measurements are: Bra 36B, Waist 29”, Hips 38”, Height 5’2”, and Weight 130 lbs. I find this garment a very comfortable fit. It is snug, but not impossibly tight. I believe that a woman somewhat larger or smaller than me could fit in this garment comfortably, too. The halter tie neck and stretchy material mean that this piece can fit a wider variety of sizes.

*Cleaning*
Suggested cleaning procedure for the Strappy Stretch Lace Teddy is pretty expected. It is recommended that you hand wash in cold water and line dry. Do not bleach it.

*Packaging*
The Strappy Stretch Lace Teddy is cheaply packaged. It came in a cellophane wrapper inside of a cardboard hang box. The box has front and back images of a model wearing the garment, as well as the DreamGirl logo and some information about the garment.

I have yet to give this outfit a trial run with the boyfriend, but I did not want to hold the review until I see him again. (We are currently long distance. Cry with me.) However, I did send him some pictures and he approved of those! He also liked the snap crotch feature. I will include any pertinent details in a follow-up review.

While I do think this piece is a sexy little number, it definitely has some design flaws. It is obviously cheaply made and I believe that it is overpriced. Had I not received the teddy free in exchange for a review, I would be feeling a little ripped off right now. My advice would be to purchase an item with a similar appearance and better materials, or to wait until this product goes on sale.

While I stand by my criticisms of this garment, I still really enjoy it. It is a hit with the boyfriend. He likes easy access lingerie in black. He also thought the straps across the midsection were a perfect touch of naughty! The piece has held up pretty well after a couple wears, washes and trips in a suitcase.
