Halter babydoll with embroidered collar and matching g-string - babydoll and panty set by Leg Avenue - review by Boobs and Lubes

We have sampled and reviewed several Coquette products, and it's no secret we enjoy their pieces. This ensemble is from Leg Avenue; we have sampled from their collection before but have found their products to either not fit well, or have a cheap feel to them.

This halter babydoll is a simple two piece that comes with a matching G-string that has the same pattern as the collar. It's a basic crochet design but it's elegant. The bottoms lack a liner in the pubic area, but are otherwise sturdy. There is little to no cup support for the breasts, as there is no underwire for support. There is however a drawstring that wraps under the bust and ties in the back. This ensemble fit very well (top and bottom) on my size 4 frame. The length was also right on; my height is 5'9". This babydoll may be intended for those with a petite bust, or those who have been enhanced because of the lack of support.

The design is quite straightforward with the nylon panels attaching to the crochet collar. An elastic band gives the back it's conforming fit. The materiel that makes up the panels is sheer nylon, and is not quite as soft as chiffon; it is however soft for nylon. Ours needed a iron on medium heat to remove the wrinkles. The stitching on our particular set was good and without flaws or pulls. It's not the most substantial set as it weighs .2 lbs, and really is not much fabric.

In evaluating the Crochet halter babydoll, we have to agree with other reviewers in that this will not be a hit for everyone. It is one size fits all, but it will not fit all sizes comfortably. The collar has 3 different adjustments with a 2" differential. Some may find it uncomfortable there, and when it comes to the thongs, they seem like a medium. Chances are if you have worn and enjoyed some of the other babydolls by Leg Avenue or Coquette, you will like this one as well.

Care for this should follow fine garment instructions, none were provided on the piece. We wash it by hand in woolite and line dry followed by an iron on medium. It's been resilient so far.

We had a great time with this set, it's very sexy and revealing. Access is a snap and we left it on the whole play session. There is not much to it, but sometimes less is more. We agree with other reviewers that this may be priced a tad bit high.

This piece has held up well to sexual activity, we wash it in a garment bag, and it does need some ironing, but it's still sexy. It's a bit different than a lot of the other stuff we own.
