Red ruffle babydoll, garter and thong - babydoll and panties set by DreamGirl - review by Newmie

I would like to start off by saying, that I will be updating this with photos within the week.

Packaging
The packaging for this was nothing special, as far as I can recall. Definitely not discreet, however, I did not order it from here, so that may change some of that.

Materials

I feel like, as far as quality goes, this piece has it. The top is 86% polyester and 12% cotton. The garter is 54% polyester and 46% cotton. Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on how you look at it), I do not have the thong with me and cannot give the material percentages. It is polyester and cotton; that I know.

The top bra-part is extremely thick and rich. I love that it seems extremely durable. It has held-up in all play for me so far. The baby doll-part is thicker and mesh-like, I wouldn't suggest tugging hard or trying to tear this piece, but I feel confident enough in it that it would hold up fairly well if something, like a knee, was on it accidentally when you moved.

Much like the top the garter's material is very heavy and durable. The stays/clips/suspenders and clasps are metal which is always a plus in my book.

Care
As far as care goes, with these pieces it recommends that you "hand wash in cold water, line dry" for both the top and the garter belt. I do this anyway, whenever I wash any of the laundry (except for the thongs). It is the safest bet with lingerie, if you are ever unsure.

Top
I am fairly happy with the fit of this baby doll. It shows some, but not too much with the slit down the center. I only have one issue and that is with the chest area. I am a 32B and it is a little large up top. This is a size small. The band, however, fits great. The cups are just a little large. To basically fix the gap, all I can do is, either put some chicken cutlets in it(is that the actually term?) or pull the girls up to the top and adjust every so often. If the gap at the top really bothers you, I wouldn't get this unless you are a 34+ for the band size and probably to be safer a B cup+. If you were a 32C, it wouldn't be much of an issue at all.

That being said, I have no idea what this would be like if you had a large chest (D+). The small was almost perfect for my 32Bs and they are on the smaller side of that B, so that may be an indicator that if you do have much disparity between your band size and your chest, such as a 32DD or 32F type of deal or just a very large chest, this may not be the best piece for you. However, take that with a grain of salt, since I really don't have much experience in that realm.

I am happy with the length of this; it comes to about where my jeans go. If you have a very long torso and want something long, this won't be the piece for you.

The detail on the top is great; there is a little red ribbon and gathered mesh that just adds a little something extra to this piece, in my opinion.



The Garter Belt
It is very durable, like I mentioned earlier. I prefer garters that sit higher than where my pants sit, so this was just a little disappointing, but that is just a preference of mine. It has cute detail all over it, from the little ribbon outlining it to the gathered mesh all around it. I like this piece, personally.

The Thong

The thong is just awful. It is too short (which is a first for me) and too wide in the back. It is like wearing a very large pantyliner, with a red elastic band around it. The band is exactly like the elastic you buy at a sewing store to put in like pants or something. It is just awful but that I feel like is standard for lingerie thongs.



Overall, I like this piece. It isn't perfect, but if your man likes red, then this is a great piece to have for any day of the year. Oh, and I forgot to mention, The color is absolutely phenomenal. It is such a rich bright red.

I ended up wearing a different pair of panties and foregoing the garter belt. My SO loved it. I would love to be able to wear the garter belt out and have, but unfortunately the red keeps showing, making it extremely noticeable when my dress moved just the right direction (aka: any movement). With a longer dress though, I had no issue as long as I wore a slip, due to the brightness of the red.

Ths is still such a rich, sexy piece. I do not use the garter belt as much as I had hoped I would. The babydoll has held up and nothing has begun to fray which says a lot me.
