Giving a tug on the bows in the back and the openings, they are sewn very well and they seem like they should tear or come apart easily with some care. Upon initially feeling the Peek-A-boo bikini panties, they are smooth and lightweight and sheer. The Peek-a-boo back bikini panties are 88% nylon and 12% spandex. We were not sure whether or not these could be thrown into the washing machine or not. Based on doing some research, it is recommended to hand wash in tepid water with the addition of gentle detergent.
