Bustier with nude hose - bustier discontinued by Escante - review by allehcat

As soon as I saw this bustier set, I knew I would love it. It's an awesome indigo color that looks amazing on the sheer material, and I love the style! Wearing garters and stockings are very fun, in my opinion, so I was excited to try out this outfit! I ordered it in a 3x, because it looked kind of tight and I wanted to be on the safe side. That turned out to be a good plan. Err on the larger side with this one, ladies. According to the Escante size chart, a 3x means that you should be a size 20-24, D+ cup, 48-52 inch bust, 52-56 inch waist, 58-62 inch hip, and 225-250 pounds. This didn't turn out to be quite right for this particular piece.

It ended up being a really good thing that I ordered it bigger than I thought I needed to. I wear a size 16, and fit within all the measurements of the 1x size, except I don't have D cup breasts. I thought going bigger would mean it would just be more comfortable and have bigger cups. That wasn't quite accurate. The set fits me, but it is by no means big, and the breast cups are tiny! I do not fit in it at all, which is a little bit disappointing. I can still wear the set, but I spill awkwardly out of the top. The 2x is supposed to be able to accomodate DD breasts, and the 3x says D+, so am I missing something here? I was totally heartbroken that it didn't fit right. Somehow, my boyfriend was still very excited about it though. It's actually his favorite piece that I own, which is why I kept it instead of getting an exchange or replacement. If I wanted the same piece, there's nothing I could have done anyway. 3x is the largest size offered.

The material and construction have held up wonderfully, and I love the stockings that came with the bustier. I wear them pretty often, and haven't gotten any runs yet. If you're interested in the set, I would absolutely recommend it. It's well made, comfortable and sexy as hell. But if you are larger chested, you may want to think twice. And definitely order a size or two bigger than you would usually wear. If you're on the smaller chested side, this may be perfect for you!

I've worn this about once a week for 2 months, and have machine washed it on cold after every use. There is no damage, wear or tear, or any construction failures. I don't wash the stockings, and I hang dry the set instead of putting it in the dryer. It turned out to be a good set, despite the fit issues. Those are pretty common for me. However, now that I've lost weight, I am a comfortable DD cup, and I really thought this would fit them better.
