I bought these panties hoping they would be both comfortable enough to wear on a daily basis but cute. They have surpassed my expectations on both levels.

Oh La La Cheri packages the panties in plastic, on a smaller hanger. I don't hang my panties, but you could use it to try after hand-washing or store other apparel. There's a tag to remove before wearing. The panties themselves felt silky smooth, because of the dual layers of mesh on the back. Even in my hands, it felt cool and inviting.

The design is sexy but modest. The boyshorts sit at the hips and show a bit of cheek but still manage to remain discreet, if you're concerned about that. The back panel, like I mentioned, is two layers of fine mesh. It's not quite opaque, but it's not as see-through as a single layer. The front consists of a layer of lace with a floral motif.

The crotch piece if silky satin on the bottom, lined with cotton where it'll rest against your body. I would have just as well preferred either the mesh or lace to continue. It seems a bit out of place. Of course, you can't really see that while you're wearing it. Besides the cotton lining, the formula is nylon and spandex, so it offers quite a bit of stretch.

The elastic at the waistband is scalloped, while there's a ribbon bow on the front center. Attached to the middle of the bow is a plastic 'gem'. It borders on cute and cheap, and you'll want to take care when washing it. I've been hand-washing mine for this reason. You can probably cut off just the gem without removing the bow, but I've decided to leave mine on. During wear, you can't feel it.

Aside from that, I experienced no issues of quality. The sewing is strong, there were no loose threads and no other defects. If it weren't for the gem, I'd wash these in a lingerie bag without second thought.

The panties themselves are comfortable while I wear them. I ordered mine in the large, as I bounce back and forth between mediums and large. I could have gone with a medium, but I think this size was more flattering on my 41" hips. These might be a bit too big for low-cut pants because of their full coverage; however, they stayed where I put them.

Panty lines are especially minimal, because the legs aren't lined with elastic. Rather, the lace in front is finished and simply lies flat against your thighs. I really like the feel of these, as I sometimes have irritation from elastic banding around the leg holes.

I liked these so much that I went ahead and bought a pair in black. The blue is deep, but I don't have any matching bra. The black will match everything I have.

I took a quick pic of these under Baci's Flower Lace Boyshorts in size ML. You can see that this pair is slightly wider, but quite a bit fuller cut at the bottom.

I still enjoy both of my pairs of panties, but I've noticed they don't hold up in the wash. One pair has developed broken elastic around the lace. I will more carefully hand wash these in the future. However, I am happy to report that the little gem on the front has remained steadfastly in place.
