Details:
The bodice has a demi-bra style front with a non-adjustable bra band going around the back. The bra style front has no padding and adjustable shoulder straps. There is minimal support and no uncomfortable underwires. The bra is not see through, having some material behind it and elegant shiny gold thread accents in a delicate lace floral scroll pattern. This pattern is repeated along the bottom edging of the babydoll skirt.

The sheer, net material flowing down from the bodice is loose and flowing. This does hide many flaws, even though you can see through it. There is a beautifully detailed 3" lace band around the bottom of the Babydoll that finishes the style elegantly.

Designed as a babydoll, this has the length of a short chemise. I would not wear this one in public, however with a bit of ingenuity--it can be appropriate for public wear. A decorative but complimentary strapless black or nude bra may be the answer to your ability to wear this one out, paired with some slim jeans it would be a cute evening look.

Material:
A fine, sheer net is the main material of the babydoll. The bust area is decorated with a shiny gold thread in a very feminine pattern and there are small, thin threads-also gold-accenting a slight scroll pattern. Very elegant and delicately done--the detailing is one of the nicest I have seen on lingerie.

There is a slight bit of stretch to the material, but it is actually very strong for netting. Made of 90% Nylon and 10% Elastin (or Spandex), this is very durable and has held up for many months of wearing and washing. As with any of the mesh/net materials, there is a chance of runs when it is snagged by a fingernail, but I have not had any happen in my garment yet--which in itself it a small miracle.

The netting is sheer, but the loose folds really seem to hide most figure flaws. I do not notice my stomach pooch as much as I have with other, more opaque materials. The bodice design and bottom band draws the eye away from the torso and makes this area a bit less noticeable.

Quality:
The attention to detail and design paired with the durability of the material has convinced me of the better quality of this babydoll. Fantasy Lingerie went all out to make a comfortable, well sewn and feminine piece of lingerie with lasting power. I have had this for almost a year and have not has any threads come loose or runs in the material. I do wear this 3-4 times per month minimum and it has been carefully washed many times.

The seams are straight, each edge is finished and the gold design work is secured in the material. There were no loose threads when I received this and I still have not had one after all this time. I would rate the quality fairly high.

Fit:
The bra area is a bit snug, which does keep the lack of support from being an issue. I can adjust the straps to keep my breasts in place and not have them bouncing all over when I walk or move. The skirt portion is long enough to hit my upper thighs in the front and rests just below my butt in the back. It is loose and flowing, does not bind or rise when moving around and is very flattering for my curvy figure.

I love the fit of this babydoll, but do wish the length was just a tad bit longer so it would work by itself as a chemise. When I wear this around the house as a teaser for my husband, I end up having to pair it with booty shorts or leggings. The material is soft and comfortable, does not itch and can be worn for hours without being in any way restrictive or uncomfortable.

Care & Storage:
Hand wash the babydoll in cool water with a mild detergent or lingerie cleaner. Let it air dry and store it in our closet on a hanger or folded carefully in your lingerie drawer. This is a good item to travel with, it take sup minimal room in your luggage, airs out nicely between washings and does not wrinkle.

The durability and strength of the delicate looking fabric is impressive and makes me very happy with this purchase. I do wish it was not discontinued here on the site and do plan on getting the rest of the items from this line eventually.
