Snagged Immediately

I'm so disappointed that the material is so thin to these pantyhose. I absolutely love the design, but they snagged the very first time of trying them on. While the price is excellent, they aren't worth anything when you can no longer wear them.
Published:
Pros:
nice pattern, inexpensive, comfortable material, stretchy
Cons:
material is so thin so the potential of snagging is extremely high.

extremely useful review
The Plaid Jacquard Pantyhose arrived in a rectangular cardboard box. The front of the packaging has a photo of a model wearing the pantyhose and states the company website. The back of the packaging has a back view of the model wearing the pantyhose and states the product name, size, material composition, and care instructions. You could use the box for storage, though I just keep my pantyhose in my sock drawer. Inside of the box, the pantyhose are wrapped around a large cardboard piece, surrounded by plastic. The nylons are only available in one-size-fits-most.

The pantyhose are 95% nylon and 5% spandex. Like most pantyhose, they are extremely stretchy. The band at the top of the pantyhose is a double layer of material. 8 ½ inches down from the top of the pantyhose (unstretched) is a solid black colour. The rest of the pantyhose have a plaid design to them. The pantyhose are sheer. There is no liner in the crotch of the pantyhose.

I’ve taken measurements of the pantyhose laying flat, unstretched. If you need additional measurements, send me a message and I can get them for you.

Waistband width unstretched: 8 ½ inches
Waistband width stretched as much as I could: 26 inches
Waistband length: 1 ¼ inches
Length of pantyhose unstretched: 37 inches

I’m 5’6 and they fit me fine in length. I feel that they would fit well for a person a couple inches taller than me, but not much taller than that. I usually wear XL in clothing, but the pantyhose fit me well in the waist area because they stretch to fit. They were not too tight where it was uncomfortable. I found the material to be comfortable against my skin and did not experience any irritation while wearing them. The toes in the pantyhose are reinforced.

When putting pantyhose on, I have to be extra careful so that I do not snag the material because my nails are a bit long. When putting on these pantyhose, I had to straighten the plaid design as they went up my leg. Everything was going fine until I reached the upper part of the pantyhose. I felt my fingernail snag the material and it was all over from that point. The snagging created a very long run in the pantyhose. This really disappointed me because I absolutely love the pattern on the pantyhose. The material is just too thin.

There is no care tag in the pantyhose, though the packaging states that they should be hand washed separately in cold water and line dried. The pantyhose should not be bleached. If you have pets, I recommend you store the pantyhose out of animals reach because they seem to pick up cat hair very easily.

Overall, I’m quite disappointed in the thinness of the pantyhose. The pattern is fantastic and the price is excellent but since they snagged before I even got to wear them, then the price and pattern is pretty darn useless. I’m very careful when putting on pantyhose but they still managed to snag on first use. I’ve given the pantyhose a 3 out of 5 because of this. If you do decide to get these, be extremely careful (maybe even wear gloves while putting them on)!

Dang that sucks that they snagged like that. They are cute too. That's why I barely get tights. I hate when you try not to get them to break on you they end of doing it anyways. Great review thanks for sharing!

Thanks for the review! It sucks that they're so delicate I'm planning to get a pair of the sheer front design when they come back in stock, and I hope they're a little sturdier!

Very cute but that absolutely sucks that they were immediately snagged

Bummer. These are so cute, but cute doesn't cut it when you can't wear them. Thanks for the review.

Thanks everyone for reading and commenting. I agree with everyone... so cute, but damn the thinness! If they were just a bit thicker they'd be more durable and then I'd buy another pair to replace these crappy snagged ones

Thanks for the review. I could probably never use these since my normal ones already tear quickly. They look so nice though.

Fantastic review, stinks that they snagged immediately. I really liked the pattern on these. The picture really shows how interesting the pattern is.
