Crocheted lace long dress with deep V neck - gown discontinued by Leg Avenue - review by remember.me

I received this crocheted lace dress by Leg Avenue. I decided to get this because my last piece had been so very nice! I was definitely disappointed with it; it just wasn't what I expected!

First, I hadn't noticed that it only comes in "Plus Size" but I don't think this is technically what I would consider plus size. It should probably say "One Size Fits Most" instead because I am definitely not plus size, and it fit me without being "too big" for sure.

This is an up close picture of the tag that was attached to the dress. It just showed the size, a picture of what it looks like while on, and the name of the item.



This is just a picture showing the way it was packaged. The dress was nicely folded inside the package - not wrapped about a piece of cardboard or anything else.




This dress is made out of nylon and spandex! The dress was very soft right out of the package and smelled fresh. It felt very nice against my skin, wasn't itchy at all, and was rather stretchable. To wear it, you simply put it on over your head, pulling the rest down over your body. Two strings allow you to tie the top around your neck, making it so you can tighten it or loosen it as needed! This is the only adjustable part on the dress.

To care for this dress, you should wash in cold water and line dry. You do not want to bleach, iron or dry clean this dress. The dress is very easy to clean though and to take care of. You can store it by hanging if you want or just in your lingerie drawer/collection!

As for wearing this dress, the back reached my ankles and I am 65 inches tall, so the dress is pretty lengthy. I did not have anything available to measure the dress as I recently moved so trying to give you an idea of how long it is!

Overall, I didn't like this dress.

While it is just as beautiful as the pictures indicated, I did not find it very flattering and actually didn't wear it long because I just didn't find it sexy at all. I didn't even want to get a picture of me in it because I just didn't feel good wearing it.

I definitely think liking it would be personal preference and includes whether the dress "fit" the way you wanted it to, but overall, the quality and softness of the dress were definitely the highlights of the outfit!

I don't even wear this. I just don't like the way it looks and may just end up giving it away or something. I think it is more a personal preference than anything though. I wish I found it flattering because it is very soft and I loved the feeling of it.
