Something Blue
My lingerie collection is almost all black, so I decided to step outside my box a little and order this blue bustier set. I love the colour, and overall I'm pretty happy with the set, but there are a few negatives that keep this from being one of my favourite outfits.
Published:
Pros
Nice pop of colour, Fits well, Bustier is comfortable, Stockings don't dig in
Cons
Doesn't shape my breasts, Panties are uncomfortable, Lacing on back doesn't show
Material:
The bustier and panty are made from stretchy blue satin and black lace. The satin feels nice and silky, and
the lace is also soft, as far as lace goes. The main lace has a small pattern that looks sort of like a daisy, and the lace trim has a more traditional floral pattern. The material is 95% Nylon and 5% Elastane.
Design:
Since there are a lot of things going on with this set, I'm going to start at the top and work my way down.
The bustier has stretchy, adjustable straps like you see on most bras. The cups are half satin and half lace, so depending on your breast size, your nipple will probably show through the lace. The cups have underwire, but since they are made from stretchy, un-lined material they don't offer any shaping. My breasts look the same in the bustier as they do naked. I don't need much support, but I would have appreciated a little extra cleavage. The back has a standard bra closure with hooks and three sets of eyes.
The stomach panel has 2 strips of plastic boning, on either side of the center lace area. The boning doesn't offer any shaping, but it help keep the bustier laying flat and not riding up. Since the bustier isn't very structured, it is comfortable to wear. I still wouldn't want to wear it all day under my clothes, but it doesn't bother me at all during sex in different positions. Attached to this are two lace sections that extend from the waist to the hips and wrap around the sides. They are edged in elastic, but they don't dig into my sides at all.
At the back, these lace sections attach to another small satin area. There is a lace up closure on the back, but it isn't really functional or visible, so I really don't see why it is there. There are two plastic hooks at the top and bottom of the lace closure, which holds the sides against each other. The lacing just makes the bustier more difficult to take off, since you have to slip it over your head unless you want to un-lace then re-lace them all. If you wanted to show off the lacing or give yourself some extra room in the hip area you could leave the hooks unhooked, and actually use the laces, but I would be careful about putting too much pressure on that area since it could rip. The laces go through metal eyes, but they are just sewn onto the satin and could rip out if pulled.
The garters are permanently attached to the bottom of the bustier. They are adjustable and have plastic clips that are covered with ribbons.
The best way to put the bustier on is to turn it backward, and do up the bra closure and lower hooks, then turn it around, before hooking up the garters. It isn't something you can take off easily, so it's probably best to plan on leaving it on throughout sex.
The panties have a wide lace waistband, so they don't dig into my hips like g-strings do. The front, satin traingle is short, and doesn't reach all the way back to my butt. The thin elastic which is supposed to start at my butt actually starts right before my vaginal opening, so it can be a bit uncomfortable. If I pull it back to start where it’s supposed to, the panties are too low in the front. I swapped the thong out for some crotchless lace boyshorts, which also meant I didn’t have to take the garters off and remove my panties to have sex.
The stockings included with the set are One Size Fits Most. They are a medium level of sheerness - not super thin, but far from opaque. They have a thicker, reinforced toe and band around the top. They are very simple, with no backseam, lace trim, or silicone stay-up strips inside.
The set has tags attached. They are on the larger side and made from a scratchy material. The tag on the panties is sewn to the lace area and is visible, so you’ll want to cut them off. They were easy to remove.

Experience
Fit:
I received this set in size Medium. According to the size chart, the Medium should fit a size 6-10, A-B cup, with a 34-36 inch bust, 28-30 inch waist, and 32-34 inch hips, who weighs between 120-140 pounds. I think there is a mistake on the size chart and that the bust and hips measurements should be reversed, because clothing sizes usually have a larger hip measurement than bust measurement.
I'm 5'4" and 150 pounds. I usually wear a size 8. I'm a 34C with a 37 inch bust, 30 inch waist, and 38 inch hips. As you can see, I'm on the larger end or slightly over the recommended size. I chose to go with the Medium over the Large because my waist falls under Medium and I'd rather have lingerie fit slightly tight than too loose. Overall, the set fits me quite well, although I am near the limt and wouldn't recommen it to those who are larger than me. It is pretty accurate to the size chart.
The cups are slightly on the small side for me, but definitely still workable. My nipples are close to the top edge of the lace on the cups. I wouldn't recommend the Medium for a D cup, because your nipples will most likely be popping out. I think it would be perfect on a B cup.
As I mentioned earlier, the elastic edge on the lace around the stomach doesn't dig into me at all. If I were any larger I think it would start to create an unflattering roll, so if your waist matches a larger size than your breasts do, I would go with the size that matches your waist.
Since I have a shorter toso than the model, there is no gap between the bustier and panties for me.
The waist band on the panties is stretchy, and is able to accommodate those, who like myself, are slightly over the recommended range. However, due to the short crotch portion it would be more comfortable on smaller girls.
Even though I'm only 5'4" I have to extend the garters to their full length in the back. I do have a larger butt. The garters may not work for taller women unless they have a smaller butt or have longer stockings that they can sub in.
I was happy to find that the One Size stocking actually fit me perfectly without digging in, since I've had problems with the stockings from other sets being too tight. My thighs are about 23 inches around at the widest part, and less than tone, and these stockings look great. I don't think they'll be a problem for those with smaller thighs, since the garters will hold them up, but if you have really slim legs you might be a little loose.
