Fishnet stocking black - stockings discontinued by Fantasy Lingerie - review by arewehavingfun?

I am fairly short--5'2" tall. At the widest part of my thighs, they measure about 21". I ordered the plus size in this fishnet thigh high because in the past thigh high stockings have been anything but. A short thigh high, barely making it over the knee, is just not sexy. I decided an ounce of prevention...well...you know the rest.

These stockings are packaged wrapped flat, around a thin piece of cardboard in a clear plastic bag. An insert tells us they are fishnet stockings, plus size thigh highs and the material is nylon. There is a picture of a model wearing the stockings. Pretty clear and straight forward.

I took the stockings out of the package, noting no strong scent. The fishnets are very stretchy and soft. I had the impression they would fit well and I was right. I was able to pull the stockings almost all the way to my thigh, which is very sexy and appealing to my guy. There is a narrow band at the top of the stocking, but it does not attempt to hold the stocking in place. You definitely need a garter belt to keep these stockings up. To us, that is a plus because fishnet stockings plus a garter belt equals sex in our book! Lucky for us, I already own a few garter belts so I pulled out my laciest and sexiest belt and took these stockings for a spin. Women who are very tiny and have small thighs will want to order the regular size. There was so much give left in these stockings that I feel the plus size will fit women with larger and/or taller legs/thighs than mine.

With the stockings pulled in place, I attached the tops on both legs to my garters. Because there is no strong band at the top, the stockings have a tendency to droop, giving the top an unattractive scalloped effect. This little droop can be overlooked because the height and sexy appeal of these stockings is so over the top HOT!!

Fantasy Lingerie says to wash these by hand and lay flat to dry. As usual, I placed these fishnet thigh highs in a "delicates" bag and tossed them in the washing machine with a regular load of clothes and they came out just fine. I did not put them in the dryer because I'm not sure how nylon would react to high heat.

My husband just loved me wearing these stockings. He picked out my highest, shiniest and sexiest heels and had me in bed posing just about every which way. My legs were kicking in the air, I was on my tummy with my legs spread and he took some pictures from that view, I looked at him, I looked away from him and all the time he just kept looking at my legs and taking pictures. At one point, I'm not sure if he even knew the legs were actually attached to me!! He loves stockings and sexy lingerie on me but I have never had such a reaction from him. I'd say it was like, "...who are you...what did you do with my husband...and I don't care, just don't stop...". I don't have to tell you that we didn't stop, do I?

I love the sparkle effect of these stockings. They wash great in a pillowcase in the machine and dry in a snap.
