Do you love your back? Do you have some lovely skin or ink or hours at the gym to display in a casual and sexy way? Then you can't do much better than this. Its a pin-up style look with a very modern feel that's surprisingly comfortable to wear.

Some days I feel like showing off my body more than others. Some days the only thing that I want visible are my arms and back because those are the parts that aren't subject to hormonal whims or the bloaty-ness of a big lunch. And for both the days when you want to revel in your skin and the days when you want to look sexy but keep a moderate amount of coverage, this is a perfect compromise.

Not only is this piece flattering on a variety of bodies- but it's also truly comfortable. I picked out a large simply because I could tell that with the cut of the shorts, I was better off with a little extra wiggle room than too little. They're not exactly stretchy to accommodate.

From a distance, this piece looks almost like a modest bathing suit of some decade previous. But up close you'll see clearly that the top is transparent. If you plan to wear this in public- at least in a space where laws about nipple visibility are a concern- you'll want to find some electrical tape or pasties to stay within the bounds of the law. And in case you were curious: yes, it can even double as a swim suit. It would be a little scandalous, given the transparency, but it certainly won't fall apart upon immersion, like some outfits.

I was delighted to find that the garters were removable. This is presumably to make the piece easier to launder (which it does, certainly), but it also means that you don't have to wear thigh-high hose. You could opt for full length fishnets for a more covered-up look or go with bare legs. The adorable pink accents provided on both the front and back are sustained, with or without the matching garters. They create an eye-catching line that gently but effectively frames the silhouette in a very flattering way.

My only critique of this otherwise incredible piece is that I needed to re-tie the top a couple times. It's a halter-style top requiring two pieces of fabric to be tied together behind the head. This is obscured in all the images posted with this product on here. With a lot of movement (or if the fabric is heavy from water- if you do decide to take it for a swim), then it won't stay in place for too long. If your intention is to hold still, it won't be a problem. But if you want to dance around or get physical with someone, this baby's coming off. But then, that's kind of the point.

My adoration is still incredibly high for this piece. It's flattering, comfortable super sexy looking. I've even gone swimming in it, so that should count for something!
