Lace top bow thigh high - thigh highs discontinued by Baci - review by PeachieClean

When I saw these, I fell in love with them. I nearly died when the post office had issues delivering my package, because I was looking forward to these so much. When I finally got the package in my hands I felt relieved... at least until I opened these thigh highs. You see, I'm really short. By really short, I mean 4'10. I'm practically a midget! Still, I don't usually have too much of a problem with thigh highs. They might wear a bit higher than normal, but that's not usually too big of a deal. This time around though? No such luck.

They come in your typical hosiery packaging. A thin cardboard case with a cut-out so you can feel the fabric, with another thin cardboard insert to keep things from getting tangled and weird. Nothing terrible, but nothing too terribly fancy either. They seem to be pretty typical as far as care goes. They don't seem overly delicate, so you can probably get away with washing and air-drying - but I haven't bothered to test that, since I couldn't even wear them. If you do go this route, make sure not to use bleach, and I recommend a lingerie bag.

The feel of the material... it's honestly kind of rough. It's not bad when you wear them, but they aren't something I'd wear if I wanted someone to touch my legs and be turned on. It feels sturdy enough, but it's just not a touchable pair of thigh-highs.

That being said, they are gorgeous. They look so hot with just a hint of skin underneath. And they look good with a lot of different skin tones. I'm more olive-skinned and the tan under the black is really sexy, while pale skin is even more pale, in a good way. No matter what, these look sexy.

As long as they fit you, that is. You see, being short, I'm used to things not quite fitting. Most of the time I can just roll something here, tuck something there and it works. Unfortunately, that doesn't work so well when your thigh highs go all the way up your thigh and have room to go higher. Since these pretty much have to be worn with garters, I would have to figure out a way to stuff 8 layers of fabric into my garter clips... and anyone who uses garters day-to-day knows that this is not a good idea. At all. EVER! So, these were pretty much a bust for me.

They would be super cute if you were tall enough, and had slim enough thighs. (Not that they have to be stick-like, since they fit over my ENTIRE thigh - they just don't stretch much bigger than that. My thighs are about 22 inches around at the widest point.) Hopefully my friend Andrea will be able to wear them.

My friend Andrea now owns these. She says they are very comfortable, fit her well, and survived a machine wash, though she didn't machine dry them.
