Miss prep school - costume discontinued by Leg Avenue - review by Shhhitsasecret

I had my husband tell me what he liked for costumes and lingerie and this was one of his top picks. I decided to go with this and the white stockings (as shown in the picture because the costume does not come with it). We got the free upgrade to 2 day shipping and got it right on time. I was actually surprised with the ruggedness of the costume. I was expecting maybe a cheesy costume that you find in stores that will be good just for every once in a while but would start popping seems soon. That was not the case with this outfit. It is 90% polyester and 10% cotton. It needs to be hand washed and drip dried.

I loved the skirt. It was perfect length and again real nice and made well. However, the shirt left a little to be desired. I had read the other reviews about the shirt being a little big but was meant for more of a B-C. I thought I may be ok, but the shirt was a little big for me. I have to knot up the shirt three times for it to fit tight enough and that just doesn't do a lot for the bust area. If I had gone down a size for the shirt, the skirt would not have fit. So I made the right choice but this is for the bigger breasted.

With all that being said, the bows for the hair are cute. They come on black elastics so they are real easy to put in. The tie is on a stretchy band that just stretches over the head. It is the perfect length. I don't really like pig tails but the bows make it much better! My husband definitely liked this costume. So, overall, I give it a 4 out of 5. It did the job, my husband loved it. It was well made, but the size for the top runs big.

I had to knot the shirt 3 times (which didn't accent my breasts well) and hide the mess of the knot in the way I tied it because the shirt runs big. If you are a B-C, go with an A-B. If you are an A cup, I suggest looking for other costumes.

I would love this outfit a lot more if the top fit nicely, but I love the skirt and still stand by the statement that it is well made. It is a nice quality for sure, and my husband still loves it. Just remember that the top runs big, and you shouldn't have a problem. It is easily washed and hasn't shrunk at all, which actually kind of stinks. If it shrunk in the wash, I could make the top fit. Oh well, I never disliked it. It's a very cute costume.
