Design:
The Seducing Dancer Gown is simple, seductive and comfortable. Designed to show sexy glimpses of curves and skin through the sheer panels while modestly covering areas in the front and back with an opaque material, this gown will flatter most body types. The design and cut of the two materials adds curves and hides figure flaws. The full length of the panels elongates the body and adds a flattering, slimming effect.

The adjustable straps help tighten and lifts the material covering the breasts. This adds a slight lift if the breasts are carefully arranged after the adjustments. There is no bust support. The straps criss cross at the bra band area of your back. The straps keep the gown from being backless.

The gown is floor length and has a high slit up one side. The slit adds leggy, sex appeal and makes walking around in the gown easier. The slit also comes in very handy when having spontaneous sex while still wearing the gown.

Quality:
There are no loose threads, the hems are all evenly stitched and the flawless cut and design of the panel seams is very desirable. The seams are all folded and hemmed, leaving no unfinished edges in either material. The slit does have a hemmed stopper to keep it from tearing upward.

The opaque, satiny, material is soft against the skin and is a flattering material. The thin, sheer, panels are surprisingly durable. These are a higher quality material than I thought after removing the bag from the gown. The sheer material will still run if caught on a sharp object or ragged fingernail, but not as easily as nylons. Both materials are very thin and cool, making the gown more suitable for warmer weather. This material ranges in an average level of quality compared to other lingerie material.

Material:
Made of 90% Polyester and 10% Spandex, the dress is smooth and flowing while still hugging your sensual curves. This material does need to be treated with caution when it is worn around an open flame or extreme heat due to its proclivity to shrink and melt rather than catching on fire.

The black, opaque material has a satiny finish, but is a basic Polyester, very similar to the material used for a large [portion of lingerie and gowns. There is absolutely no stretch to this part of the gown and while it is opaque when loose, it may become semi-sheer if it is pulled tightly over the skin.

The sheer panel is a very fine mesh, more Spandex than Polyester, and resembles a coarse pair of nylons in its appearance. It is remarkably soft against your skin and there is no itching while wearing the gown. There is a very significant amount of stretch in these panels, which allows for a more versatile fit and allows a higher amount of body types and sizes to wear the gown. There is more stretch on the up and down area of the material than there is on the side to side area.

Fit:
I ordered the large due to my bust size and experience with DreamGirl lingerie. This size usually fits my bust nicely and adjusts to my waist and hips. I am 5'2", so length has always been an issue unless I wear heels.

The Seducing Dancer Gown runs about 1/2 to 3/4 of a size [ital|too large]! I should have purchased a medium for a perfect fit. The bust straps had to be adjusted all the way forward to keep the opaque panel over my breasts and the waist is about 6" too large. I have a 29" waist, & loose the waist measures 36" around. There is another 10-11" of stretch [ital|per side] due to the stretch of the sheer panels.

Care & Storage:
Hand wash in cool water with a mild detergent. I use Ivory, Dreft, Woolite or Dona Lingerie Wash. Do not wring the water out of the material, that would stretch it unnecessarily and cause it to lose its shape. Hang this on a hanger and allow it to line dry. Do NOT dry this gown in a dryer, that will break down the materials and also may melt the thin, sheer spandex panels. If it is hung outside in the sunshine, it will be completely dry in about 30 minutes.

I either hang this in my lingerie closet or fold it and store it in my lingerie drawer. The gown is wonderful for traveling since it does not wrinkle easily and it also takes a minimum of space in your luggage. When traveling, I like to fold it in quarters, then roll it up tightly.

I do love the peek-a-boo sensuality of this gown. The comfort level is high and the material is of good quality for lingerie. I do wish it was a tad bit shorter, but will eventually end up getting the gown re-hemmed for my short legs.

After washing this 5 times, there is not a bit of fading or wear on the mesh material!
