A decent starter bullet

While I can't necessarily detail anything WRONG with this toy, it's just a bare-bones clitoral vibrator. There are other, improved bullets for just a couple bucks more - I say look into those. As a freebie goes, it's all right, but I can't imagine pulling this out over my Jimmyjane.

Use

The Eden Fantasy multispeed bullet is a sleek little toy that would be a good introduction to bullet vibrators, or vibrations in general. Because there's no flared base, like most bullet vibrators, this should NOT be used anally. It can be used vaginally with caution, but overall I recommend sticking to clitoral use. Designed to be used externally, this toy doesn't provide g-spot or p-spot stimulation. Its small size makes it a good choice for anyone. This could definitely be used during partnered play, either with one controlling the bullet while the other receives sensation or with someone controlling the bullet on themselves while engaging in sex with their partner.

Material / Texture

There are two parts to this toy: the purple plastic battery case and control for the bullet, and the bullet itself, which is shiny and silver. Water, oil, and silicone-based lubricants are safe to use on this toy. You shouldn't need much at all - just a little dab to keep things slick will work, as the bullet is small. The bullet itself slides easily over the skin, though as always lube can only improve things. (Within reason - too much lube will make the bullet hard to hold onto and could cause you to pull on the cord - bad!) There aren't any color options here - just the purple battery portion with the EF logo and the silver bullet. There's no odor and the bullet doesn't retain any.

Design / Shape / Size

The battery compartment is an interesting shape - it reminds me of one of those white-out pens, sort of round on one end then pointed. Set into the battery case is a dial that acts as the control; you turn it on one side but cutouts mean you can see the dial turning on both sides of the toy, which was a bit confusing for me at first. The bullet itself is oblong, with a seam running around the middle of the toy. The two are connected by a thin cord that comes with a small twisty-tie; it's not the most efficient at holding the cord and putting it back on for storage, so I took another that I had laying around. As for the size of the bullet, it's a bit wider than my other bullet at 1" in diameter. I think this may have contributed to why this didn't work for me as well as others.

Functions / Performance / Controls

The bullet is controlled by a dial set into the battery case. A quick turn, and the unit clicks as it turns on; you can turn it more for higher speed, then back for a lower speed. There are no patterns, just a constant stream of vibration. The vibrations are concentrated in the bullet, which makes it difficult to hang onto and direct at some levels. At its highest, the bullet is maybe 3 vrooms - not very strong, and I'm learning I'm someone who needs pretty strong vibrations. The noise level matches the intensity almost exactly. This isn't a toy that's quiet for its size or type. Not terribly loud, either, just average. You'd be safe through a closed door but it could be heard through blankets. The bullet tends to get pretty warm after about 15 minutes, so if you're using it internally, be careful with that! Also, when using it vaginally, be very careful not to pull the cord to retrieve the bullet. This toy isn't the best made, and that could break it in a heartbeat. It runs on two AA batteries, and rechargables will work. Be warned: there's no way to lock the controls, so take the batteries out for travel!

This toy is NOT waterproof, so do not use it in the shower/tub/etc.
    • Lots of variety in function
    • Multiple settings

Care and Maintenance

This toy is definitely not waterproof, so use care when cleaning it! Fortunately it's pretty easy - just wipe down the bullet with a toy wipe, antibacterial soap and hot water, or isopropyl alcohol. Due to the wire connecting the two and the plastic nature of the battery case, this should be apparent, but this toy cannot be boiled or put into the dishwasher. Really, though, a quick wipe-off is all you need. The toy itself didn't come with any storage materials, but it really doesn't need any. I recommend being careful with the wire since it seems pretty flimsy, so keep the twisty-tie to keep the wire snug, but other than that, really store it where you like - mine's at the bottom of my drawer with all the others.
    • Easy to clean

Packaging

This was one of the most sparsely packed toys I've ever received. It was just in a plastic bag that said Eden Fantasys on it. Ta-da, that's it, nothing else. The bag wasn't even resealable, so it couldn't be used for storage. Overall, it was pretty useless.

Personal comments

This was a freebie, and I wouldn't have bought it - the Jimmyjane Iconic Bullet is PERFECT for me, and this is just a little too bulky and not as strong as that one. The bullet's vibrations are more concentrated and the bullet itself is smaller, whereas the EF bullet spreads out the vibrations over a broader area, which isn't as satisfying for me.
Follow-up commentary
I don't know why I haven't tossed this yet. It's not horrible, I just have better toys in my collection. Might as well keep it - you never know when I'll need two bullets. Or, maybe if I find out a friend has never owned a vibrator, I can get her started!
