This dual stimulator is great for solo use. This certainly would work as foreplay with a partner, however with a toy like this it often needs to be placed just right which can be very difficult for someone else to get it there. As such for me it's best use as a masturbatory aid.

The Flutter is part of Cal Exotic's L'Amour line.

The clitoral vibrator isn't very loud, however the rotation motor is pretty loud, so you'll really need a closed door and a tv/radio on to mask the sound. You may hear it over a shower. Is *is* splash proof; you're totally safe in the shower. Do not submerge it though.

The Flutter is made out of premium silicone, as such it's non porous. It's incredibly velvety. Along the back though there's a slight seam which is odd; I'd never seen one with one of those. Even having used it I actually didn't even notice the seam until I sat down to review it. I have another of the L'Amour line and it doesn't have a seam so it's probably just unique to my Flutter.

Since it's silicone you can clean it with a 10% bleach solution.

It's a dual stimulator so it has a shaft with a clitoral stimulator. The clitoral stimulator is in the shape of a butterfly with 2 attenae. The butterfly is actually really thick; I find it very hard to use because I have very thick outer labia; with the size of the clitoral stimulator I'm not really able to get any clitoral stimulation from it.

However, the shaft is great! It rotates at the tip in a clockwise direction. The back of the shaft is smooth, however the front has 3 seams then a tiny hook at the tip. The unique shape of the shaft makes it great for g-spot stimulation.

It's about 7" insertible length with a thickness of 1 1/4". So you're not going to really get a filled up feeling, however the not-very-thick size of this works excellent for the rotation.

The Flutter has a 3 button control design on the handle. The bottom button is the power button, though nothing starts happening. There are 2 other buttons; the very top one turns on the rotations then the middle button turns on the vibrator for the clitoral stimulator. There's 3 speeds for each. All the buttons light up, then when you're finished you need to hit the power button again.

It takes 3 AAA batteries in the bottom. The cap just twists off and there's a plastic tray that you put the batteries in. I like these; it's so much easier to figure out how to insert the batteries correctly.

You'll need to use water based lubricant because it's silicone. You can clean it with a 10% bleach solution or toy cleaner. It's non porous so you can share it, but make sure to sterilize it with that 10% bleach solution first.

Store it not touching any other toy to protect the integrity of the material.

I'm a little disappointed with the Flutter because the clitoral stimulator is so big. Makes it difficult to use for a girl with big labia. However the shaft is excellent!
