I purchased this product quite some time ago before I was a more experienced user in toys. First, I will start off with some of the bad things. The material is jelly, for those not aware, jelly only has a safety material rating of 2. This is because it cannot be fully sterilized or boiled in water. Generally you can only wash in warm soapy water or with toy wipes. It is very unsafe to share jelly toys unless you use a condom on the toy. The other thing I want to point out is the quality of the material. In this case, it is very flimsy around the head, the surface can sometimes crack from what it seems. Be careful with this vibrator, try not to be too rough with it.

That being said, I will focus on the good points now. This vibrator has a very nice feel to it, especially around the head. It is very squishy and soft. The bump of the head feels really great as it pops in. After the head is in it very quickly gets thicker down to the balls/base. On the way down you will pass over ridges/rings. Overall from the head to the base it will range from, 1 1/2" thick at the head to 2 1/2" at the balls. It has an overall length of 7 1/2" and 6 1/2" can be inserted. Surprisingly I have found very little odor with the material even after use. Its definitely not for beginners but rather more experienced people. The vibrations are really strong with this toy on the highest setting. The lower settings seem to make it harder to feel the vibrations at the head, but turning it up solves that.

The color and design look great and the toy has a realistic feel inside of me. The waterproof feature is nice to enjoy some fun in the shower. The intended use of this vibrator seemed great at first, but over time I felt myself less interested. After the material started to form small surface openings and cracks I decided it was no longer safe to use. This is not a very discreet toy, making it harder to travel with but still possible.

If you're looking to use this product for the intended use, strong vibrations, orgasms, hitting the g-spot and not doing anything too rough or crazy with it then I am sure you will enjoy it. Avoid anal play unless using a condom is what I recommend. If you feel a stinging sensation while using it, wash it and check the material to see if its forming surface cracks. Overall a nice performing product held back by its material. I hope others have better luck. Always remember to do research before buying.

I bought this one hoping to get some strong vibrations for the prostate. Inexperienced at the time, I was unaware of the jelly material and safety. After some use with anal pleasure the material began to break down and I had to throw it away. It didn't quite do much for me in pleasure as far as vibrations.

Many years ago when I originally purchased this vibrator I had little to no experience with sex toys and materials. Just before I wrote this review on the Tidal Wave Dong I was getting ready to throw this in the garbage. If you recount in my original review I mentioned the toy formed small surfaces cracks. I'm still not really sure as to why this would happen as I have tried to look back on my experiences with using this toy. Sadly I never did actually use condoms with it when I should have for anal use. If anyone is looking to purchase this toy, I recommend using a condom for safety and cleaning purposes. Giving it some thought I think I have an explanation as to why this toy may have forms surface cracks and damage.

When I originally had this toy I also owned a few other toys of different materials, including some that were jelly. Due to my own inexperience I do not believe I stored this toy correctly. What happened was most likely the toy came into contact with another jelly toy, for short or long periods of time I am not sure. When the materials contacted they started to "melt", or in other words, the materials started to react to each other. I believe it was just enough to damage the surface material which then with extended use and cleaning made the toy unsafe.

As far as the burning sensation I felt while using this, I can only speculate on two contributing factors to why this happened. First, obviously the damaged surface with cracks, and second the water based lube I was using at the time had Glycerin and Parabens in it. I remember other experiences with toys using the same lube in which I felt a much lighter, but still present burning sensation. Regardless of my inexperience at the time, I still stand by my original 3 star rating of this vibrator. While there were some features I did quite enjoy, primarily the squishy head and ribbed texture, I feel the material is the big downfall. In my personal opinion if this was made of silicone with the same squishy feel, it would most likely be one of my favorites.
