RO-100mm soft tip bullet - bullet discontinued by Rocks Off Ltd. - review by MidnightB

I was after something small to fit in my handbag for some outdoor fun and I saw these small colorful vibes. I chose the red because if someone peeked into my bag they would assume it was a lipstick . . . well a girl can hope, can't they!?

I love the plastic screw bottom case which hugs the toy perfectly and is completely see-through; ideal for keeping it clean and protected from any scratches plus it won't accidentally switch it while bumping around in your handbag. This was one of the reasons I bought it as the plan was to keep it in my handbag . . . just in case! I must admit I wish it wasn't see-through as I could hide it completely, but the main fact for me was just having a discreet case.

The Science Bit

It's an ideal length for a usable bullet of 4 inches, with a circumference is 2 1/4 inches and a diameter of 3/4 inch. The silicon tip is 1 1/4 inch long tapering to a soft bendy point - perfect as a clitoral stimulator - but it can be used on the nipples or any other external erogenous zones. It has a nice weight to it of 3 oz; not too light and it has a quality feel in your hand. It is non-porous and latex/phthalates free, as well as completely allergenic. As I'm quite sensitive to things, this is perfect for me.

Description

The body of the RO-100 is chrome-plated plastic not metal, but it still feels cool and substantial in your hand unlike some bullet vibrators which can feel very cheaply made. Tis could have been improved by using real metal to give it a heavier, colder feel to fuel my cold metal fantasy's . . . mmmmm! The side of the bullet has the RO-100mm soft top logo embossed into the chrome on the side; a nice classy touch. It really does look like a bullet with the silver shell apart from the red soft silicone tip. It comes in various colours, so there is something for everyone.

The bottom of the bullet screws off to reveal a single LR1 battery, I love that Rocks Off always include batteries, so you're ready to go the minute you have it out the box . . . yes!! Being waterproof, the base has a small watertight seal so the cap must be screwed on tightly if you're planning to submerge it or use it in bath or shower.

The silicon tip grips your skin well so some may prefer using a water-based lube for more slide, but do not use silicon lubes on the silicone toy or it will degrade and possibly damage the waterproof seal too.

The Vibrations

It has 3 speeds, changed by clicking the little matching silicon button on the base to scroll through the speeds that suit you. This is so much easier than a screw base to change speeds especially for those of you who, like me, have had batteries accidentally fall out while fumbling for the next speed (which would happen when I first started using toys). The speeds are:

1. Low-medium strength,

2. Stronger steadier buzz, and the

3. Strongest pulse, best felt in the middle of the bullet.

To turn off, you simply hold the button for 3 seconds.

Cleaning

Being waterproof it's easy to clean under warm soapy water or while you're in the bath or shower. Then I use a sex toy cleaner spray to make sure. But a problem I foresee is the ridge between chrome-look case and start of the rubber tip; this must be cleaned thoroughly or it could be a hygiene risk.

I was really excited with this vibe, I loved the hardcore bullet look, I loved the soft feel of the gorgeous tapered tip and the vibrations are very discreet and quiet, you can easily use this and you wont be heard outside a closed door or in the a shower with water running.

But sadly this one was a huge disappointment for me, no matter how many times I tried I could not orgasm with this vibe, it didn't have the power to take me over the edge. The vibrations were too buzzy for me and mainly in the middle of the vibe not in the actual tip as my hand became quite numb after only a short time. I feel it was too buzzy and not rumbly enough, the frequency is too fast for me.
I am though a complete power freak and love my extra strength vibes. I did however enjoy the pinpoint stimulation on my nipples, neck and down my back; so it definitely heated things up.

It really looked so good and it's a perfect handbag size for me. Even though it got me going I just couldn't reach orgasm and I had to use another toy. I have other toys which I would prefer to use than this as I can usually come quickly and many times with little stimulation. I was quite disappointed as I had high expectations of my little Ammo.

Conclusion

"So weak that if CSI found it, they would expect the victim to still be alive." I have become used to way more power than this little one has to give so if you are someone like me who loves their powerful vibes, choose another toy. There are so many to choose from.

But don't be put off with my review as I would still say it may suit those new to vibrators, those who are sensitive and do not like strong vibrations, or simply like to use it for foreplay. It's very inconspicuous. Someone wouldn't know what it was at first glance and its handbag size is ideal. It comes in great funky colors and has nice feel to it. It just wasn't for me!

Sadly my vibe is RIP it no longer makes any vibrations and I hardly noticed...; as the vibrations never really did anything at all for me when it was working.

I did however love the shape and the case to keep it in, it was a great size for my handbag, so its a shame I never fell in love with this vibe...at all!
