Vibrator kit discontinued

An exercise in frustration

With three cute interchangeable heads, the Bliss #3 looks good, but its single speed is underwhelming. Seams on two of the heads made this toy less versatile for me, and overall I just didn’t enjoy using it.

Use

The Ophoria Bliss #3 by Lover’s Choice Inc. is vibrator kit for clitoral and other external stimulation. The three interchangeable heads provide different kinds of stimulation when attached to the vibrator handle. The dome head provides the largest area of vibrations, while the other two heads with ball ends deliver more pinpoint sensations. The heads stay in place quite well during use, and are easily removed during play or for cleaning.

Material / Texture

The vibrator handle is made of hard plastic, except for the large button on the bottom, which is squishy and easy to press. The handle is quite smooth and velvety. The silicone heads have a matte look to them, and are firm but flexible. The thinner, longer ball-ended head is very flexible and has lots of possible stimulation surfaces.

Design / Shape / Size

I have the Baby blue / White version of the Bliss #3 and I think it could pass as some sort of doctor’s equipment. If you need a prop for some erotic medical play, this would work nicely. For actual use, I found the toy somewhat difficult to maneuver. Gripping the end is a bit tricky, since the on/off button is so large and easily pressed. The long handle was easier to hold, but I had a hard time controlling where the head touched me. The added length wasn’t helpful; I ended up holding the vibe quite near the head in order to get any enjoyment out of it. In addition, the two heads with ball ends have seams running around the balls. If I’m supposed to rub something against my clit, I’d prefer it to be seamless. The seams irritated my skin quite a bit. Not surprisingly, I preferred the seamless dome head to either of the other heads.

Functions / Performance / Controls

This vibe takes two AAA batteries and has only one speed. For me, that one speed is too high to use as a warm up, yet not high enough to get me off. Overall, I was completely frustrated with this vibrator. I was always left exasperated, despite many attempts to learn about it and try to enjoy it. Even when paired with one of my favorite dildos, I couldn’t seem to dial up the right sensations to get me close to orgasm.

Despite this vibe being designed for external stimulation, I couldn’t resist poking those ball ends inside me. They didn’t provide much internal stimulation, and definitely didn’t reach my G-spot, but the “thrum” that resonated through my inner labia was quite nice. Sadly, providing a tingly feeling didn’t earn the Bliss #3 much credit.

Care and Maintenance

The interchangeable heads are easily removed for sterilization in boiling water, or disinfection with a 10% bleach solution. I don’t recommend putting them in the dishwasher unless you can secure them to the top rack. Since they are so small, they might go on an unexpected dishwasher adventure. Soap and water can also be used to clean the heads, as well as the vibrator handle. When I washed the handle, I had no problems with water getting into the battery compartment as long as it was closed.

Personal comments

I’m not a clit-vibe connoisseur; I’ll readily admit that. I usually prefer my fingers to vibrations. But I can get off with my LayaSpot, bullet vibes, and insertable vibes (used externally). The design of this toy, while tasteful, wasn’t a good match for me. Having such a small area to rub on my vulva made it difficult to enjoy myself. People who like more pinpoint stimulations would likely enjoy the Bliss #3 a lot more than I did. I just can’t recommend it based on my experiences.

That's too bad, it looks like such a cute toy! Those seams sound like a major design flaw.

Thank you all for your comments!

@Sammi - You're absolutely right, frustrating vibes are quite frustrating!

@EffinSara - I had high hopes for it, too. I've used three Ophoria toys now and they all have seam issues. What's so difficult about making a smooth toy?

I like a slightly larger area to rub as well and I can see how this wouldn't work for that.
