Mimi lil'massager - clitoral vibrator discontinued by Cal Exotics - review by Luvasaurus

Cal Exotics' Mimi Lil Massager is a clitoral massager. My Mimi Lil' Massager is bright neon orange and white plastic. The vibrator takes 2 AAA batteries (not included) that are inserted by sliding off the back portion of the vibrator. Mimi is not waterproof at all; if you try to wash it with soap and water, you risk getting water in the battery compartment and destroying it. Use rubbing alcohol or a toy wipe for cleaning. Remove the batteries before cleaning and in between uses.

This clitoral vibrator is relatively small, with a length and width of 3 x 3. The size allows for easy travel, but it does not come with a carrying case. I suggest storing it in a toy bag or a Ziploc bag, for traveling. The toy is shaped like a really fat X with rounded points. It fits comfortably in my hand and is easy to maneuver.

You can use water, oil and silicone lubricants with this toy. The instructions recommend using a lube with the toy. I assume it is because of the hard plastic material. It also states to insert into the vagina, don't stick the whole toy in. I inserted one of the rounded ends into my vagina, which aligned the rest of the toy perfectly against me for stimulation. You can also use it flat against your clit. One of the benefits is how versatile it is. The massager is also great for body massages. In the future, mine will be helping to relieve tension in my back, not for sexual stimulation.

The Mimi Lil' Massager is an extremely powerful toy; I'd go as far as saying too powerful. The violent vibrations caused a little agitation. It also makes my poor arm go numb; having a numb arm is very distracting. While other extremely strong vibrators often leave me a little sore, this one leaves me without an orgasm, a numb arm, and a frustrated vulva.

I usually love strong vibration, but this is different. I feel like the Mimi Lil Massager is the annoying younger cousin of the Hitachi Magic Wand who will never ever reach the Hitachi's magnitude. They are both extremely powerful, but the quality of the items is very different. The Lil' Massager is made out of a phthalate free, hypo-allergenic, and safe plastic. The plastic reminds me of the plastic Pokémon balls that my brother used to play with. In fact, the look of the whole thing reminds me of something on an Anime show. I like its appearance even if it does look like it could turn into a platypus. The plastic comes in both neon orange and white or hot pink and white. I love both color options. The appearance is very inviting to a first time toy user. It is small, compact, and doesn't look like a sex toy.

My biggest grievance is the vibrator's 1 setting and 1 speed, an overwhelmingly powerful vibration. I have never owned a toy with only 1 speed and I will be avoiding them in the future. I like to work my way up to the highest level. I don't know if it's the 0 to 60 in .2 seconds or if it really is just too strong, but for some reason my vulva doesn't appreciate this toy. The vibrations are turned on by a very convenient white push button on the top of the vibrator.

This is a very noisy vibrator. I think the only things I own that are louder than Mimi are my Hitachi, blender, and vacuum cleaner. While its appearance is very discreet, the sounds are very revealing. It is definitely not roommate friendly.

I don't recommend this toy. While it has its positive aspects, I feel like you'd be much better suited purchasing a different clitoral massager. I would recommend the Laya Spot if you are looking for a less powerful option that won't cause your arm to go numb and is very discreet or the Hitachi Magic Wand if you are interested in a more powerful massager with multiple settings and don't mind the noise.

I didn't enjoy this toy. It left my arm numb and I found it to be too powerful for clitoral stimulation.
