Aura of Luxury

A great beginner rabbit for those people who care about what they put into their body. The size isn't intimidating and would make a decent warm-up to other toys.

First impression

When I first saw the Aura, I was very pleased. The box is discreet without screaming "There's a sex toy in here!" Unless you are familiar with the company. Inside the sleeve is a plain black box which opens to reveal the Aura sitting in a plastic shell. Also included is the USB charger (love these) and a small bag for the charger.

The Aura is made of silicone and plastic. Silky silicone makes up the bulk of the toy with a loop handle of shiny plastic and a shiny plastic collar around the base of the toy. The silicone feels close to a lot of luxury toys, Je Joue and We-Vibe springs to mind. It feels very sturdy.

First Use

I wanted to love the toy, and I do love parts of it, but it just couldn't cut it. With rabbit vibes, there's a bit of a challenge as far as anatomy goes. Some people prefer strong arms, others like arms that rest against your clit. I found this arm hovered, and I never got any of the benefits of the vibration.

The rotating beads, on the other hand, which causes the head to wiggle, is pleasing in combination with another toy. I used my Satisfyer 2 Pro as kind of a hands-free toy. The Aura wiggled, and the Satisfyer 2 Pro did its job. All in all, it was a very nice orgasm.

As a rabbit, I just couldn't get there.

Further Experience

Further experimenting with the toy, I realized it was a little small. The rotating balls kind of shine when they're closer to the opening of my vagina, and being such a small diameter, I was able to take it and miss the mark.

The arm is just not compatible with my anatomy; I don't know if being a bit stronger would have helped at all or not.

Vibration Map

The vibrations were fairly strong to the touch but muted in practice. The arm of the toy only really did the job when I was using it externally and using the tip to tease. If there was a little more pressure, there it would have been able to hit the spot.

Otherwise, there are some cool features including the levels of vibration. Holy cow if you like patterns, you'll love this toy.

The rotating head spins left, right, and then switches between the two on the last two settings with varying rotations. (You need to press the buttons to cycle through which makes it difficult with the vibrations to find your favorite, but the toy remembers your last setting which is nice).

The vibration patterns blend into each other with two constant vibration settings, a high and a low. Two varied pulsation settings, a roller-coaster-like setting, an escalating pulsation and the rest are just a blur of pulsation and escalations. I think they'd be nicer if the arm was a bit firmer.
  • Very mild, low level vibration
  • Moderate vibration
  • Strong and easily felt vibration

Orgasm Intensity

I did orgasm a few times with the toy, but I have others, sadly rabbits with a cheaper build, that are able to make me orgasm easier. I only came when I swapped out the clitoral arm for my Satisfyer Pro 2, and chances are next time I'll add my We-Vibe to the mix instead.

If you're using it externally and ignoring the rotation, it should be an alright vibe. I suggest playing with the rotation because that's where this toy shines. It feels very sturdy, and the beads don't seem like they would lock up like other rotating rabbits.
