Silicone beaded butterfly - rabbit vibrator discontinued by Cal Exotics - review by His Dirty Little Girl

This waterproof butterfly vibrator is something different that I had thought about trying. I truly like my rabbit vibrators, and I like how it goes directly where I would like it to go on my clit. However, I knew that, because of the style of the butterfly, I would be getting a different kind of feeling. The antennae of the butterfly, when turned on, applies vibrations above my clit and prepuce, while the wings vibrate my lips. For me, when my clit gradually got swollen from the vibrations, it was able to touch the main part of the butterfly's body where the bullet is located. With every woman's body, I would imagine that the feeling is different; but, for me, it's a little harder as my clit is on the smaller side and likes to have all the attention. The beads in this are very much like the rabbit, and they circulate while moving the head of the insertable portion around in small circles.

The material is TPR silicone. It is a phthalates-free, hypoallergenic, latex-free toy that should make your body happy with being very safe for you. It has a slight silicone smell, but is not at all overpowering. There is no real taste, and it is very soft and giving to the touch.

There are slight bumps on the insertable portion and, much like the beads in the length of the toy, they are placed to give a great deal of pleasure when allowed to rotate. The length is not flexible, but the butterfly is able to be moved around a little to find the right placement for you. The design looks nice and pleasing. It only comes in the one color, but it looks so nice and clean and tempting. The size on the insertable portion is written to be 5 1/4" and feels slightly deep for me, but I think it has to do with the girth being 1 5/8". The total length of the toy is 10 1/4" and fits easily into a suitcase, but it is not really recommended for travel unless you take the batteries out, as there is no way to lock the buttons.

There are four buttons on the base and LED lights to let you know how far the strength is up. There are two buttons to take each part down and two more to take each up in power.

The vibrations can be felt in the total butterfly part, sending the antennae vibrating and the wings fluttering. But, as said before, the bullet is where the real strength is. This gives a whole new kind of clitoral orgasm, I think, because it doesn't just focus on one point. This part can go from low strength to medium and high. The vibrations, I think, are on a medium level, but enough that if I do not have the rotation on, I can get off with just the clitoral part on high. And, it is not overly loud, but to where I think you could hear a gentle buzzing in the next room.

The rotation of the beads (resembling pearls) and the head are on one control. You can feel the beads moving around, and it can be quite exciting. This part can also go from low to medium to high. The head of the toy makes small circles inside of you, hitting all of these pleasure spots inside of you that you may or may not have even known were there.

This toy is pretty easy on its upkeep. I use a toy wipe on it, but you can also use soap and water with it. It is fully waterproofed; so, when using soap and water, I had no fears of running it under the water to rinse it off. I store it in a toy box, along with others, but would not suggest keeping it somewhere where it could be bumped on and off.

Please take care and make sure that you do not use a silicone lube with this toy, as it can break down the material over time and make it to where little germs can hide somewhere -- no one likes that. Personally, I use Maximus lube with all my toys and, since it is water-based, it works very well with this toy.
