Bunnies Are Mean!

Jack Rabbit is overall a decent choice for dual stimulation. The shaft is very easy to insert. The controls are also easy to work with, regardless of whether or not your hands are covered in lube. Once inserted and on, the shaft and head of the toy have very realistic-feeling movements that add quite a bit to stimulation. The toy is also waterproof, making cleanup much easier and allowing for play in the bathtub or shower.

Use

Jack Rabbit is designed to be used vaginally while stimulating the clit externally. It features three motors that power the rotation and vibration of the shaft and head, and one that powers the clit stimulator's vibrations.

The toy can be used in a small variety of ways. Since the shaft and clit stimulator are powered by separate buttons on the control pad, you turn on just one part. Each vibrating motor's function is also changed separately, which can allow you to set the internal vibrations low and the clit stimulator's vibrations high, or vice versa.

The shaft may not resemble that of an actual penis, but during use the head area feels very realistic. Between the bump on the shaft near the bunny's ears and the slightly curved and larger head, some users may experience g-spot stimulation. This does depend on your anatomy.

Jack Rabbit is water proof and safe to submerse in water, so it's great for bath or shower play. It's also easy to use alone or with a partner.

Material / Texture

Jack Rabbit is made out of two materials: pure silicone and plastic. Most of the outside body is covered in pale purple silicone. At the base, the control pad and battery compartment are made out of the purple plastic. Squeezing the shaft, it feels like the core of it is plastic. The firmness runs up to a point about an inch and a half up from where the clitoral stimulator starts. From there, the toy feels squishy and flexible.

The silicone has little wavy lines on it that can easily be seen and felt with fingers. I was unable to feel them inside while using the toy. I did feel the difference in size from the head of the toy to the shaft.

Right out of the packaging, the silicone does have a light odor to it. After a few washes it does go away. I did not notice any taste to the material.

I would consider the texture of Jack Rabbit to be a good choice for any kind of user. It's a very plain texture. During use it feels no different than smooth silicone. This makes it easy to insert and comfortable to use if you are a beginner. Other features of the toy will make it a bit more exciting for advanced users.

Design / Shape / Size

Jack Rabbit is a pretty sizable toy. It measures 9 1/2 inches total in length, and 5 1/2 inches of the shaft can be inserted. The bunny clit stimulator is 4 1/2 inches long, with 1 inch of that being the bunny ears. The shaft varies in circumference between 4 1/2 inches and 5 1/4 inches. It gets wider towards the base. Halfway down the shaft, on the front, is an oblong bump meant to enhance stimulation.

Aside from the color and swirls and lines throughout Jack Rabbit, the design of the shaft and head of the toy are pretty realistic. The head is defined and has a rounded tip. When powered on, the head and shaft move slightly to mimic the movements of a real penis during intercourse. This enhances the stimulation felt during use of Jack Rabbit.

The clit stimulator extends off of the main body of the toy. It's got little bunny ears on it that rub against your clit. It doesn't have a bunny face or anything on it, just the ears.

Jack Rabbit's smooth silicone body is very well made. Seams are only barely visible and cannot be felt during use.

I would consider Jack Rabbit to be a bit too big for beginners. This toy is bigger than the average penis size, and it is also pretty weighty, too. If you're a beginner, I strongly suggest looking for a slimmer toy or starting out with a smaller toy first. I will discuss my experience with the toy and its size below in the experience section.

Despite the large size of Jack Rabbit, it's fairly simple to insert. The head is only slightly larger than the shaft and does not make insertion difficult or painful.

I would not consider Jack Rabbit easy to hide. It's bulky, heavy, and bright purple. It is also not discreet at all. Anyone who looks at it will know it's a rabbit-style vibrator.

Functions / Performance / Controls

Jack Rabbit is operated by a control panel at the base of the toy, right underneath the bunny clit stimulator. The top button controls the clit stimulator's vibrations. In the middle is the power button. The two buttons controlling the vibrating functions of the shaft and head of the toy are on the bottom, side by side.

The entire control panel is made of plastic. Each button is not separate, so there is no space for water to get into the controls. This also makes it easier to clean the toy.

After turning the toy on through the power button, either portion of the toy can be used. A small blue light above the controls indicates whether the toy is on or off. The toy does not have a memory to save settings; once you turn it off, you'll have to cycle back through the options to get to where you were at.

In addition to vibrating, the shaft and head move in a circular motion. It's not very much, but just enough to make the toy feel like a real penis. While the direction and amount of movement cannot be changed through the controls, you can control the amount of vibrations. The shaft only has three options for vibrations: constant low, medium, and high settings. It does not have any pulse or patterned settings.

The clitoral stimulator has a few different vibrating functions:
- constant low
- constant medium
- constant high
- fast medium pulses
- staggering increased pulse from very low to high
- long high pulses
- pattern of short and long pulses at high speed (like ...---)

The packaging discusses the 7 different vibrating functions of the toy, but these only apply to the clitoral stimulator.

My opinion on the functions of the toy will be discussed below, in my experience section. I do think the vibrations are about as powerful as most higher-quality toys I have tried. They're intense enough to provide pleasure without being painful for any user. The vibrations feel more rumbly than buzzy.

The controls of Jack Rabbit are pretty easy to use. The buttons are easy to feel when not looking at the toy and are easy to press. None of them need to be held down to change any setting. At the same time, they aren't so easy to press that you'll keep accidentally turning the toy off.

The noise level of Jack Rabbit is completely dependent upon which parts of it you're using. Turning on just the shaft is pretty quiet. With the toy inside of you and some covers thrown over your body, the noise should be completely muffled. The clit stimulator is quite a bit louder. It's between the levels of noise my cell phone's vibration alert and my electric toothbrush make. It can be heard through covers and possibly through a door. Using both portions together makes it just slightly louder than using the clit stimulator by itself.

I don't have a tub to test the toy out in at the moment, but submersing it in a sink of water and turning it on showed me that it works pretty well in water. The vibrations did not seem to be dulled or increased by the water. The noise level was about the same.

Jack Rabbit requires 3 AA batteries to run. We put in some pretty old ones that my camera rejected due to low power, and it managed to use them for at least half an hour so far.

Care and Maintenance

Jack Rabbit can be cleaned like most other vibrators. You can wash it in the sink with some soap and warm water or use your favorite toy cleaning wipe or spray. Since the toy is completely waterproof and submersible, you can throw it in a sink full of warm water while cleaning it. It cannot be boiled to sterilize it, though, as the heat will ruin the working parts inside the toy. I strongly suggest leaving it out to air dry rather than drying it with a towel, so it doesn't pick up any lint or dust.

The toy can be stored in the original packaging or in a Ziploc bag. If you're storing it with other toys, you'll want to keep it separated from them by the bag. If Jack Rabbit touches other silicone toys without the bag acting as a barrier, the finish of all the toys touching will be ruined. A bonus of storing each toy separately means they're ready for you to use right away, rather than having to wash them first. For right now, I'm keeping mine in the box until I remember to pick up some more big storage bags. Once I have some, I will be recycling the packaging.

Since Jack Rabbit is silicone, it is only compatible with water-based lubes. Silicone based lubes will also wreck the finish of the silicone.

Packaging

The Triple Motor Jack Rabbit comes packaged in a paperboard box with a clear plastic insert. The packaging is in no way discreet. The front has a photo of the Jack Rabbit. It's just slightly smaller than the actual toy. Some small blurbs of text around the toy make it very obvious that this is a vibrator. The back of the box lists some basic information about the toy, like the material and descriptions of the vibrating functions. This information is listed in English, German, French, Spanish, and Russian. At the very bottom of the back, it says the toy requires 3 AA batteries, which are not included.

Other than some basic toy information, there isn't really any sort of guide on how to use it. For some it may not matter, but including some instructions for beginners would be nice.

The packaging can be used for storage. It's a bit bulky compared to the toy (measuring 12 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 2 inches), but it does keep it clean and stored. I would consider the packaging an okay choice for gifting the Jack Rabbit. It doesn't have any naked women on it, which is great.

Personal comments

I was disappointed with only a few things. First, Jack Rabbit did not include anything in the way of instructions. I would have liked to see at least something on how to clean and care for it. The packaging doesn't even have so much as a little blurb about avoiding silicone lubes with this. Second, I would have liked to see it rechargeable, especially considering the price. Third, I would have liked to see some sort of storage-appropriate packaging, even a little draw-string bag. Again, considering the high price tag, I would have expected it if I purchased this toy. Most toys I have received over about $75 have a nice box or at least a little storage pouch. This also makes it a bit more ideal for gift-giving.

Experience

When I first accepted Jack Rabbit as a descriptive review assignment, I didn't really look at the product details other than to examine the picture. I try to accept anything that comes my way for descriptive reviews rather than only picking things I want. I've never been a fan of rabbit-style vibrators and was not sure what to expect with Jack Rabbit.

Receiving it, I was a bit dismayed at the fact that this is considerably larger than what I was expecting to receive. I was worried the toy would not fit, as I have a really tight vaginal opening and anything larger than my partner just does NOT fit.

Thankfully, when the time came to use Jack Rabbit, we were able to make it fit with a bit of a warm up. I was pleased to see the toy slid in easily without any discomfort for me. Once it was in all the way, I felt pretty filled up but still comfortable.

When my fiance turned on Jack Rabbit's shaft, I first noticed how incredibly life-like it felt. The shaft moved around like a real penis would during intercourse, which completely took away the feeling that I was using a sex toy. If not for the clitoral stimulator, I would have thought it was the real thing.

As for the clitoral stimulator, I absolutely hate it. The bunny ears feel soft and smooth when off, but when the toy turns on they feel sharp and stingy against skin. I tried it against my finger and it felt just as painful as it felt on my clit. This just made me cringe and pull away from the toy. Even on the lowest setting, the clit stimulator hurts me.

Luckily we were able to make it work even with the painful clit stimulator. We simply did not turn that portion on and tilted the toy back slightly so it did not touch me at all. The only downside to that is the shaft didn't go as far inside me as it could have.

If I could purchase this toy without the clit stimulator, I'd do so in a heartbeat. The rest of it is perfect, for me at least.
