The Butterfly Climaxer is one of my favorite vibes EVER! I had a slow introduction to vibrators and when my husband came home and surprised me with this, I was a little intimidated because I had never had a vibrator with buttons or a clitoral stimulator before. WOW! I LOVE my husband! This vibe has a smooth, swirly design with rotating beads and a nice wide butterfly with a bullet inside of it. I mention the bullet inside of it only because some products have a rabbit or butterfly attached to it, but they don't vibrate well because they do not contain bullets. (This bullet is not detachable)

Because of these functions this vibrator is great for internal vaginal, clitoral stimulation, and even some anal stimulation. The rotating beads are great for awakening those internal erogenous zones while the butterfly's wide wings design hug the clitoris in an enrapturing embrace. Because of its design the Butterfly Climaxer can be turned to where the shaft is still inserted vaginally, but the butterfly can vibrate against the anal region thus giving you a whole new world of pleasure. Another perk it that the handle with the controls allow for your partner to be able to handle it easily to help in pleasuring you. You can literally hand over the controls to them and allow them to tease you all over your body until they get to the honeypot.

The only downsides are that it does eventually lose its waterproofing abilities thus rusting the batteries, and certain angles can jam the beads and prevent them from rotating.

The design combinations of this product are perfect! The Butterfly Climaxer is made of TPE (Thermoplastic elastomers), and is Hypo allergenic, latex free, and Phthalates free. These qualities make it great for anyone with sensitive skin, allergies to latex products, and help to allow easy clean up after the fun is done. It can be used with both silicone and water based lubricants. Because TPE is sensitive to cool and heat, it helps to add to pleasure when this characteristic is utilized. If you are shopping for your first vibrator, you may be intimidated by the design, but please don't be. The material is not a hard plastic like many first, waterproof vibrators. The material is supple, yet firm, and only adds to the experience. There is a slight odor when first taken out of the package, but nothing that any new product won't have and it does fade.

The Butterfly Climaxer is, as I have said, a wonderful design! The mixture of textures, rotating beads, and the wide butterfly clitoral stimulator provide an ideal combination for stimulating both the vagina and clitoris simultaneously. The phallic shaped head does not rotate as wildly as some others, so it does provide a more rigid, filling feeling. (Say that 3 times fast) The handle, which is the home of the control pad, is made of a sturdy plastic that does have ridges that help with grip and control during use.

Size wise, it is 9" in length, but only about 4 1/2" is insertable. So it is half vibe, half handle. I would have liked it to be at least 1' more insertable, but it does still get the job done. The circumference being 4 3/4" is comfortable and does not give that overly-filled stretched feeling. Because of it's size, it is not the easiest to hide, but can fit in most naughty drawers.

Beginners should not be intimidated to use this product because it does provide a great variety of levels of intensity and you do not have to use both functions at once. Advanced users can also benefit from its use.

The only negative is that the waterproof feature does eventually lose its seal and the rotating beads do stop moving in certain positions.

The controls on the Butterfly Climaxer are very user friendly. There is a button in the center that controls which direction the beads rotate, and there are two arrow buttons on the left and right side of the "control panel". One set of arrows control the speed of the rotating beads while the other controls the intensity of the butterfly vibrations. There are three lights above each arrow that indicate which level you are on for the rotation and the clitoral stimulation functions. The combination of these controls allow for ease of use, multiple functions, and a variety of pleasure.

The rotating beads in the shaft are much louder than the vibrating butterfly. The beads almost sound like a dentist's drill. This is not something you can discreetly use without waking your partner. The vibration of the butterfly can be loud as well, this noise is drowned out by the mechanical noise of the beads.

This vibe performs very well in water. Easy to control even if wet. The only downside is that the seals do eventually fail which will rust the battery section of the vibe and thus breaks the entire unit.

Obviously works best with fresh batteries, but I would not characterize it as a battery guzzler. It gave great vibrations even with low level batteries.

The care and maintenance of the Butterfly Climaxer is a breeze! Due to its TPE (Thermoplastic elastomers) material, it is not porous and will not absorb colored lubricants or anything else and it makes it so easy to clean. Just use either a toy cleaner; if you are like me and run out of it, use hot water and an antibacterial soap. Of course you are using protectors on it, so clean up should not be that difficult. If you have long hair, sometimes hair can get wrapped around the base of the butterfly, so always check for that.

My husband and I have a toy chest to keep all of our toys organized and locked away from kids, but this vibe can be discreetly hidden in a vibe pillow, nightstand drawer or that dark place under your bathroom sink behind that huge awful smelling bathwash set your great-aunt gave you for Christmas.

Even though my Butterfly Climaxer did die after a very long lifetime due to the waterproof failing, I am buying another. This is my first choice when it comes to vibrators, but of course that doesn't mean I don't have others for different purposes.
