LR44 Button cell batteries - batteries discontinued by The Screaming O - review by TheCleansing

My partner and I are pretty heavily into toys but we haven't quite ventured into the rechargeable market (we're trying though, soon!). This calls for a lot of battery replacement as we're quite vicious with toys. In short we're addicted to vibrators, but that's not so different from anyone else here, is it? We have had a ton of trouble replacing batteries because they're so expensive. AA and AAA batteries aren't so hard to find and if you buy them in bulk they're not too expensive. But LR44's? Watch batteries? At pharmacy and department store prices we've found them impossible to replace.

That is, until we found these batteries on Eden.

These are the watch batteries you'll find powering many bullet and egg toys. In the not-so-scientific tests we have performed we have found them to be almost as good as Duracell or Energizer batteries (also LR44's). What we found that was shocking was that Eden could offer these batteries at $4 for 6 of them. How do they do it? Okay, I have no idea. But they do it and you should get these batteries. To highlight how great of a deal this is, I'll compare some prices from other places.

Amazon- $10 for 10. The best deal, but still not as good as Eden!
Best Buy- $6.38 for ONE LR44 battery. That's a single one.
RadioShack- $6 for ONE, $12 for 3.
Rite Aid- $5 for ONE, $11 for 3.
Walgreen's- $4 for ONE, $10 for 3.
Wal-Mart- $10 for 3.

The fact that Eden can offer 6 of these for $4 is absolutely amazing. Just make sure to remove the batteries from the toy when you aren't playing as that saves battery power immensely.

These batteries are almost 100% as good as name brand batteries in terms of durability, long-lasting power, and trustworthiness. Hell, I'd even buy batteries for watches from Eden. In the end, if you've got a toy you want to keep going, get these batteries. You'll be surprised.
