"G" power stud - traditional vibrator discontinued by Cal Exotics - review by KinkyNicki92

The "G" Power Stud by California Exotics is a wonderful vibrator for size-queens that don't want to spend a lot of money. This toy is constructed out of PVC, making it too firm for some. I would exercise precaution when thrusting with this toy as you could bruise your cervix. It is shaped perfectly for G/P spotting, but I recommend using a condom over this toy as it should not be shared because PVC can't be sanitized. This toy can be used for both broad and pinpoint stimulation as the vibrations carry very nicely throughout this toy. Personally, I wouldn't use this toy for anal play because it lacks a flared base, but that is at your own discretion. This toy is ideal for shared living situations, depending on the situation. This can be heard across the room if you live in a dorm, but probably can't be heard through a closed door elsewhere.

This toy does have an O-ring, making it waterproof and safe to take into the shower or bath. The Power Stud works best for me during solo play because of its size. I wouldn't recommend this as a first toy for couples or in general, because the size can be intimidating. During couples play it did get in the way. It would be ideal for foreplay, but you probably wouldn't be left with much space if you tried to use this clitorally during intercourse. It has 3 different speeds, low, medium, and high, and is controlled by a simple push button at the base of the toy.

I wouldn't travel with this vibe because it is big, it isn't discreet, and it isn't easily concealed.

The insertable portion of this toy is made of PVC, while the control portion of the toy is plastic. It is smooth with absolutely no texture and no seam. It is made of food-grade material, is hypo-allergenic, and is latex and phthalates free. I would recommend this toy to anyone that isn't sensitive to PVC. This only ranks a 2 on the Eden safety scale. I wouldn't recommend this to someone that is looking for a toy with a higher safety level or a toy of higher quality material. It would be a good material for beginners to start off with because it is usually inexpensive, and would be easy to experiment with in the event that you didn't like it. I found this this toy does not to attract dust or lint in any way.

Out of the box this vibe had no obvious taste and a slight rubbery smell that dissipated after each wash. It was not powerful enough to distract me from using it. This toy is more rigid at the base and in the middle. The toy has minimum give to it at the very tip, but is still firm enough to stimulate your G-spot. If you squeeze the toy it will give in and will return to it's original form when you release it.

This toy has a very smooth texture! I love this about this toy. I used a minimum amount of lube with this vibe. A little went a long way. After using lube it was not difficult to hold on to in any way. The texture is ideal for thrusting. This toy would be great for external use on the nipples and breasts, or any other hot-spots you may have.

This is a very nice looking toy. It is all black. The insertable portion has a matte finish that is very classy. The bottom portion of the toy is also black but has a shiny finish. I love the fact that I had a different option aside from pink and purple.

I loved the design of this toy. It was well constructed and has a slight upward curve for G/P- Spot stimulation. The shaft is rail straight and is not tapered at all. The whole insertable portion is uniform in diameter. It is an easy shape to hold on to. The tip of the Power Stud may be a little broad to use for clitoral stimulation, but it worked fine for me in that area.

This toy was very easy to insert as it moves with your body. It was uncomfortable to use this toy for quick thrusting. It felt like the vibe was boxing with my G-Spot instead of stimulating it. The less vigor of my motions, the more arousing it was for me. The design wouldn't work any better if it was made of a softer material. This toy is bigger than the average sized penis, making this toy ideal for size-queens. I wouldn't recommend this toy to a beginner or someone that isn't used to penetration as the size can be intimidating.

It wouldn't be ideal to travel with because it is a big toy, and it would be less nerve-wracking to pack something a little smaller. It isn't discreetly designed so if you left it out I'm sure someone would know exactly what it was and it what it was used for.

This toy has 3 settings. To turn this toy on, you simply press the button located on the plastic portion of the toy. It starts off at low, which is about 2 vrooms, 2 bees. Pressing it again will move it to medium, which is 2.5 vrooms, 2 bees. Pressing the button one more time will take it to it's highest and final setting, which is 3 vrooms, 3 bees. Pressing the button again will turn the toy off, and when you turn the toy back on it will start back at low. This button really needs to be pressed firmly to change the settings, so it isn't likely that you'll change them accidentally during use.

On the medium and high settings, it could be heard under a blanket, across the room, and/or through a closed door. On high the vibrations were strong enough to numb my fingers after only 10 minutes of play. The vibrations carry equally throughout this toy. There was no section of the toy where the vibrations were stronger or weaker. The Power Stud may not have enough power for some people, but for me it was great at 3 vrooms. The highest setting was too much power for me. This vibe has more rumbly vibrations. More variety with this toy would've been lovely, but for the price, you can't really ask for much more.

This toy runs off of 2 AA batteries and a new pair gave me about 1 hour, 45 minutes of play time on low, which isn't too bad. This toy is waterproof. I have used it in the shower and the vibrations didn't become weaker, nor did water leak into the battery compartment. I have yet to submerge it but I will let you know about that in the follow-up review.

PVC is a semi-porous material, so I recommend using a condom if you plan on sharing it as it can't be sanitized. This toy is compatible with water and silicone based lubricants. It can be cleaned with antibacterial soap and water or your favorite toy cleaner. There were no lines or seams that collected gunk, which made for easy clean up.

This toy should be stored separate from other toys as it could cause a reaction to some of your other toys. I usually wash this toy after I use it, dry it with a paper towel, and store it immediately inside of a zip-lock bag. This toy doesn't grab any lint, hair, or anything of that nature, which I'm extremely excited about.

This toy came in a simple, white box with a picture of the toy on the front. On the back of the box was a simple description of the toy in English and a few other languages. A little more information would've been nice even though it is self-explanatory. This box wasn't entirely discreet, but there were no suggestive pictures or vulgar words or phrases, making this ideal for gift giving.

Inside of the box was the toy. It was inside of a clear plastic bag along with a piece of white paper about how to insert the batteries. The box could easily be used for storage to keep it away from other toys, but it is a semi-flimsy box so you will have to find a more permanent solution.

I wasn't that fond of this toy when I first recieved it because of the girth, but I've grown to like this toy more. It is a filling toy and if this one broke I probably wouldn't purchase another, just because I'm not a fan of PVC and I at least like my toys to be an 8 on the Eden safety scale or higher.

I gave this toy 3 stars. The design and size of this toy is great! Had it been made of a higher quality or safer material, I would've given it 4 stars. I like this toy more for solo play, as it was too big to have in the bed with my lover. It was kind of bulky and I found myself fumbling around with it. I recommend this toy to any size-queen that is looking for a girthy, inexpensive vibe!
