G-spot vibrator discontinued

Can you pervert a sex toy?

This is a toy that was made for G-spot vibration but is really better used for anal penetration. The flexible body is not firm enough to deliver a strong vibration or really stimulate the G-spot, but is perfect for the more sensitive anal area.
Published:
Pros
Soft, flexible body; easy to handle.
Cons
Soft, flexible body; weird concave hilt; only moderate vibration strength.

I didn't want to write about the packaging (look, you don't buy the sex toy because of the packaging), but I really need to say something about this one. I don't know about you, but when my sex toy arrives in a package that can be trivially opened and re-sealed without any indication it had been opened, I feel a bit creeped out. It also arrived a bit slimy, and I sincerely hope that was from whatever manufacturing process was used and not from anything else. Anyway, a thorough washing of this waterproof toy was enough to alleviate my paranoia. To all sex toy manufacturers out there, though: please make your packaging irreversibly sealed.

First, a couple of caveats: I am a G-spot novice and am actually looking for a toy that will help me experience a G-spot orgasm. I have never actually had one. Secondly, I need a lot of vibration to get off; thus far, only the Hitachi massager|Hitachi Magic Wand Massager has been able to do it for me.

What first attracted me to this toy is the fact that the vibrating bullet is at the tip. This seemed to me, a G-spot novice, a great feature. Unfortunately, I have recently realized that most of my vaginal nerve endings are actually within the first few inches, not 4-5 inches in, where this bullet is located. Furthermore, the vibration was somewhat disappointing - pretty typical for a 2-AA-battery vibrator. It also is a lower-frequency vibrator, so if you like the "buzzy" high-frequency vibrators such as the Wahl, you should stay away from this one. (I like the lower frequency vibrators, such as the Hitachi.) Also, the cup or hilt at the bottom of the vibrator seems to be designed to shield your clitoris and labia, rather than stimulate them, since it is concave. I have to admit to being a bit perplexed at that particular design choice. (Not to mention, this makes it really hard to protect all of the toy with a condom. It's waterproof, so washing it is easy, but it's also a jelly toy, so you can't really fully clean it.) Finally, the material is a bit soft and flexible, which meant that it didn't stimulate anything very strongly. All in all, as a G-spot vibrator|Deep suction waterproof G spotter, it was somewhat disappointing.

However, all of these disadvantages turned out to be strong advantages for anal penetration. The soft, flexible body? Perfect for the sort of gentle penetration you want for anal play. The size of it is also perfect - not a toy for beginners, but for someone who's played with butt plugs a little it is perfect. The vibration at the tip definitely translates very very well down the shaft to the entrance, where it feels really delightful. The concave hilt is great to help control the movement and protect the toy from slipping all the way in.

So can you pervert a sex toy? Because if you can, you should pervert this one.
Follow-up commentary
So, I'm still very much enjoying this toy, but I have discovered a drawback. The jelly continues to disintegrate, leading to a constantly slimy feel. Iew. Secondly, the battery case is getting finicky, possibly due to the disintegrating jelly. For your information, I'm storing it in a cool, dry place away from sunlight. (It's next to my bed, in a drawer.)

On the other hand, I still love using it.

It probably had that slimy feeling because it's jelly- likely the shipping in the heat degraded it a bit.

Nice review. And of course, condoms for anal penetration!

Thanks!  And oh, yes.  Condoms for *everything*...

I'd had high hopes for this toy, specifically that the cup at the base would provide suction for the clit and labia.  Glad I didn't waste my money.  Taken off my wish list.  Thanks!

Almost all jelly toys I have purchased come with that slimy feeling at first.  They attract lint like mad too!  I'm glad you were able to find a satisfactory way to use this toy though and thanks for the review!

The slimy is definitely from the jelly breaking down -- yuck!  CW and you are right; condom that baby up.  Too bad...but way to be creative

Here's a motto to live by: "If at first you don't succeed, try it a different way." Glad you found a way to make this toy work for you. I expected some interesting things with the suction looking flange, but I guess not. Thanks for the review.

"Also, the cup or hilt at the bottom of the vibrator seems to be designed to shield your clitoris and labia, rather than stimulate them," And you still rated it 4 stars? It must be good because if that had happened to me I don't think I would have been so kind in my rating. ;)

I read a review once that someone had a jelly toy actually literally MELT in their little black box... And they were storing it just as you are, in a cool, dry, dark place. It seems to just be an unstable compound. Cyberskin has been noted to do something similar, but only the cheaply made. Please be careful... If your toy is deteriorating, it's time to throw it away and get a new one. No need to risk yourself with those chemicals!
