Daisy Vibe by O' My Products

A good dual bullet vibe. The Daisy Vibe isn't anything new, but it does the basic duty of a bullet with class and style. The 4 levels of intensity and the micro size makes this a versatile toy.

I have heard great things about the O’ My Products, so I thought I would give this little bullet a try. Okay, little isn’t the right word; this is actually a Micro Bullet|Daisy vibe - Bullet by O'My Products. I ordered mine in blue (my first blue toy, yay!) but the other two colors are purple and pink. They are all translucent and you can see the motors and the batteries through the hard plastic.

The front of the box claims that the daisy vibe is waterproof, but there is a disclaimer on the back saying to keep it away from water. Curious, I used it in the tub and it worked great. I do not believe that the control is waterproof however, because there is nothing to keep the water out of the batteries, be careful of that.

The dual vibe works well, but I was disappointed to discover that the single slider controls the intensity for both of them. I was expecting there to be two sliders, but there is only one. If you want to use one bullet instead of both of them, you can just unplug one of them easily enough. There are 4 intensities and the lowest is quite gentle while the “super” setting is intense enough to satisfy my craving for power. I found the volume to be about average for a bullet. It can be heard through blankets, but not through a closed door. Unlike my Hitachi, I don’t have to worry about waking up the whole neighborhood when I use this.

I’ve owned this for a week, and have been using rechargeable AA batteries. I have not had to switch them out yet, so I would say that the batteries last pretty well in this vibe. I use this at least once a day for about 30 minutes each time.

One complaint that I have about this toy is the shortness of the cords. I like cords that are around 3 feet long; however this one has cords that are about 2 feet. I find that this puts the control a little too close to my body during sex. It isn't a big gripe, just a little annoyance. Overall though, I think this is a very good toy.

Clean up is fairly easy. You can use toy cleaner or warm water and soap to clean this. Just be warned that there is a nasty seam near the end of the bullets, so a toothbrush may be required for cleaning it out.
Experience
I like to use bullets mainly during intercourse. I have some TPE micro sleeves that I use with my Daisy Vibe. These make it really easy to hold onto as well as helps it to stay in place during use. I like to park this on my clit before my husband lowers down onto me during intercourse. The sleeves keep it from bruising me, and makes slipping a less frequent occurrence.

You know those toys that come with a wimpy little bullet that runs off of watch batteries? Yeah, I hate those too. I would rather deal with a cord than a bullet that doesn’t have enough "oomph" to get me there. A popular type of toy that comes with those bullets would be the vibrating penis rings. I like to switch out those bullets and use the daisy vibe instead.
Follow-up commentary
My daisy vibe is now dead. One bullet stopped working because the cord got pulled before I know about putting super glue in the hole to hold it in place. I only ever used one bullet at a time, so no biggie right? Well I was super lazy one morning and after a quickie with my daisy vibe and Lone Star dildo|Lone star - Realistic dildo, I cleaned up and left the toys lying on the bed. All I had to do was unzip my toy chest and put the bullet inside, but I choose not to. I was so excited to get my morning coffee and bagel that I just left it there. A few hours later I went back in the bedroom to fold some laundry, and what do I see? My little blue vibe had been killed!!! There was my cat, so happy with himself, curled up into a little ball with a smirk on his face. Next to him lay my daisy vibe, and the one inch long pieces of what used to be the cord. He had done the same thing to my cell phone charger cord just a few days before. I have no idea why I thought he would leave the vibe a lone. I can tell you that I won't make the same mistake again. This whole thing had me wondering, why can't I buy just the bullets? I heard that the bullets from O'My vibrators could be swapped out. So why can't I buy more replacement bullets? My battery pack is still good, but useless as of now. I really liked this powerful little vibe while it lasted, until the cat from hell chewed it like gum. I will buy a different bullet vibe from the same company, and hopefully I'll know better than to leave it lying out.

I just got this and was impressed with it as well. I'll have to add a review later. Glad you tried out the waterproof capabilities because I didn't want to test it out myself. Thanks for the great review!

Was there any difference in power with just one bullet plugged in, instead of two?
  • Contributor: Bulma
I noticed a slight change in sound, but it didn't feel any stronger.  I was hoping that just one would be more powerful than two, but it was almost identical in my experience.

One of the great things about vibes with plug in bullets is you can mix and match from other toys with the same inputs

After just cursing all but one of my bullets and depositing them into the circular filing container, I have (almost) decided to buy these. Whats the super glue trick? And do you think these cords would hold up to being pulled out of the base of a dildo (the vibrating Leo)? Thanks!! :)
  • Contributor: Bulma
For using super glue, just dribble a tiny bit around the cord in the hole and let it dry. It actually helps quite a bit, and is super easy to do. I don't think the cords would hold up well to pulling the bullets out of dildos with, even with glue to hold it in place better. Instead just make sure you put a drop of water based lube in the hole before you press the bullet into place. Then to remove you just wiggle it around some and squeeze the dildo right below the bullet. It has worked very well for me, as long as I remember the lube :)

I do use the lubricant now. Thanks for the tip. I can't wait to try this!
