The Pomona vibe is meant to be a clitoral toy, but because of the way that it fits in the palm of your hand, it makes a great little massager too! Use it to massage or use it to tease during foreplay; the Pomona is fairly versatile.

The toy itself is ABS and the massaging pads on the underside of the vibe are TPR. The packaging mentions that water based lube is recommended with this vibe. The Pomona is not flexible and will not bend, but because of its perfect curve, it doesn't need to. It fits right in the palm of your hand and stays there!

Pomona has curves in all the right places! Almost pear shaped, the base of this vibe doesn't have the same logo printed on it as shown on the box. Instead, the Dr. Laura Berman design is what's featured at the base where there is an indent to help the way the Pomona sits in your hand.

There's only one button for the power and the speeds. There are 2 steady speeds of vibration: low and high. Both are decent, but they are more of a lighter buzz vibration than a heavy rumble which is what I prefer in toys. The low speed is stronger than I've felt with most toys though, so it does still pack a pretty good punch considering its size. The battery compartment is on the left hand side and has a tab to help it pop open easily when you need to take the batteries out. Pomona isn't waterproof so no bath or shower fun with this one! The vibrations carry throughout but are really mainly focused at the tip through the smaller massage pad. I didn't notice a major difference between the two speeds. Both are decent but weren't strong enough to get me anywhere so I think this will make for a great little massager.

I use toy cleaner with my toys. If you plan on using lube with this one, I'd suggest Wet's toy cleaner since it dissolves lube off of toys pretty quickly. If you don't own toy cleaner or don't feel like buying any, I'd say antibacterial soap and hot water should do the trick. As for storage, I'm storing mine in my toy chest. If you don't own a toy chest, toy bags are really handy to have!

The Pomona packaging is a standard, thin cardboard box. No warranty or information slips are inside the box. Everything you need to know is printed on the back! I honestly don't see the point in holding onto the box for storage. It's a pretty discreet and cute little toy that I think would look harmless if it was left out on its own.

Well, Pomona didn't get me anywhere but I'd still recommend it. Why? Some of my favorite toys are the most powerful ones and I know that's not for everyone. If you don't need the strength of a plug in or a rechargeable...give Pomona a try! It's a great little toy for someone who prefers lighter, buzzier vibrations. I plan on using mine as a massager because it fits perfectly in my hand and you can really press down on the end and apply pressure to sore spots!
