Although this toy might be good for curious beginners, it wasn't right for me. The Sunrise is intended for vaginal penetration. Although it could be inserted into the anus, it is unsafe for anal use. The vibrator doesn't have a flared base, and the porous material is very unclean for anal use over time. It can be used solo or with a partner. I believe that this toy is best for beginners who are curious about vibrators and are looking for an inexpensive option to try for the first time. It could also work well for curious couples that are bringing toys to the bedroom for the first time. For more experienced users, it leaves much to be desired.

This was my first time trying ultra realistic material, and I don't think I'll try it again. Yes, the sleeve feels almost exactly like a penis, but it also feels dirty. It picks up lint easily, it feels sticky, and your hands feel sticky after using it. If you lay it on a table, it will be covered with lint when you pick it up again. When it comes to my sex toys, I'm a clean freak, so this almost turned me off from using it completely. There is a slight odor when it comes out of the packaging, but it isn't too noticeable. There are some ridges around the head, which added some stimulation. The texture is definitely for beginners who are trying inexpensive options to find out what they like. Underneath the removable sleeve, there is a hard plastic vibrator -- which was much easier to clean than the sleeve, but not anything special in terms of texture. I have other vibes for a comparable price that I like more.

Aside from my complaints about the material, I liked the design of the sleeve. The ridges around the head felt nice. The size is somewhat large at 7 1/2" long and 2" thick. This is a decent size for advanced users, but it's still not too intimidating for beginners. If you're a size queen, you'll feel unsatisfied by this toy. The vibrator underneath is simple and great for beginner use. It is made of plastic and it doesn't have any ridges. It also has a very smooth surface. I'd recommend using the vibrator without the sleeve if you're concerned about the material.

The controls are very simple to use; they are conveniently located at the bottom of the toy. There is a dial that can be rotated to make the vibrations stronger, weaker, or to turn the toy off. The further you turn the dial, the stronger the vibrations become. In addition to the vibrations becoming stronger, it also becomes noisier when it is turned up higher. However, even at its highest setting, the toy has a very discreet sound. It couldn't be heard through a door, and as such, it's perfect if you don't have much privacy.

I'm just going to be honest: the sleeve is practically unable to be cleaned, and it is the cause of the toys low rating. The material is extremely porous and unsanitary; even soap and water doesn't clean it well enough. It collects lint wherever you store it, so if you plan on using this vibrator with the sleeve, know that it will be difficult to store. You will have to pick lint off of it before you use it, even if you have just cleaned it and you have never used it before. This is why I've only used it once with the sleeve.

The vibrator underneath the sleeve is much easier to clean. Soap and warm water does the trick, but a toy cleaner would work, too. It doesn't collect lint and it's easy to store.

I've used this vibrator once with the sleeve, and a couple more times without it. I've only used it without a partner. I'm too grossed out by the sleeve to ever use that part of it again, and the vibrator itself didn't make a lasting impression. Although I could see a beginner trying the vibrator without the sleeve as a first-time experiment with toys, I personally didn't enjoy it. I'm probably not going to use it again.
