Easter-Colored Slim Vibe

The slim vibe is quite useful for foreplay in terms of "fingering." This vibe is also going to appeal to those who:

1. Use multiple toys at once, or prefer multiple penetrations at once.
2. Have discomfort with regular vaginal penetration-this vibe is slim and smooth to ease discomfort.
3. Enjoy length as opposed to girth.
4. Are intimidated by or just dislike texture such as ribbing or veins.
5. Finally, this vibe is small enough and not too fragile for those looking for a travel toy.

The slim vibe will not appeal to those who:

1. Look for multi-purpose toys. This vibe has no flared base for anal and cannot be sterilized. It is also not one of my favorites for clitoral stimulation.
2. Size queens. The lack of girth says it all.
3. Texture-lovers. It's velvety smooth, but that's the extent of the texture for this one.

The slim vibe is plastic, which is an 8 out of 10 on the safety scale. While it is non-porous and phthalate-free, it is not sterilizable. Still, as plastic, it does not attract lint, nor is it as fragile as other materials. However, the fact that it is non-giving and doesn't contain a curve does make it less useful for G-spot stimulation.

The velvety texture doesn't do much in terms of stimulation, but it's a nice addition when penetrating during a particularly dry day. Very little lube goes a long way when applied to this smooth finish, and there is no drag. The lack of ribbing, veins, grooves, or other significant texture will be a pro for some and a con for others. This texture is neither for beginners or advanced users, but it is more a personal preference call.

The slim vibe has no smell upon opening the package, nor does it have a taste. I still recommend that you wash all toys before using them.

The design of the slim vibe is very basic. There are no curves, no fantastical themes or textures. This is a straight and firm vibe. A curve could have made this more appropriate for G-spot stimulation, but it seems more likely that this is just a straight in, straight out penetrative toy. The toy in and of itself, is not discreet, and neither is the packaging. Still, the toy is small enough to fit into an average-sized purse, and is firm enough to take traveling without too much extra care.

Basically this vibe is a decent length, has a slim girth, and it's lightweight.

This vibrator has multi-speed vibrations, though there is no variation of vibration types or patterns as this toy has a simple dial-base. I found that the vibrations travel quite well in the slim vibe and aren't particularly centralized in any one place. This little vibe also has quite a bit of power (up to 4 vrooms when turned up all the way), while still remaining relatively quiet. When I placed this vibe on high and closed my bedroom door, the sound was unnoticeable. One thing that greatly displeases me is that often these dial-bases have the tiny screw come loose and therefore break. Just keep an eye on how hard you turn the dial and if the screw doesn't seem tight, it's easily fixed (but only prior to its breaking point). This vibe does take two AA batteries (not included).

Waterproof or not? This item is supposed to be waterproof, and it does feature a white plastic O-ring. However, there is also a sticker that warns "Must close cap tightly." I often find that as toys age, it becomes increasingly difficult to keep the cap as snug. Also, with the dial-base, sometimes water can be let in while trying to twist the base and accidentally twisting the cap as well. Brand new, this toy survived both the shower and the bath, but I'm just not positive that this will be true in the long run.

Compatible with water, oil, or silicone lube, the worries about compatibility and/or melting are relatively low with this vibe. Plastic also doesn't react when it comes into contact with other toys, which means that this slim vibe finds its way into my toy drawer sans packaging to save me space. Still, I like to mark the instruction manual that comes with it and store it with my other instruction packets. As an item that can't be sterilized, I don't feel bad about getting rid of the packaging, as I know it will never be regifted or sold.

To clean this toy your options are:
Use antibacterial soap and warm water.
Use wipes.
Use most toy cleaners.
Wipe with rubbing alcohol.

With no crevices or texture, this toy is super easy to clean. The velvety texture also seems to dry more quickly than some others. Since lint isn't attracted, this can be laid most anywhere to dry (depending on how private you are).

The packaging did lack some basic information such as the battery requirements, but perhaps that's why an instruction manual is included. One nice factor of the packaging is that the plastic that the vibe lays into is set up so that the vibe has to be "popped into" the plastic. This minimizes the risk of damage when the order is being shipped.
