Alia is an elegant and simple intimate massager from LELO. I was really hopefully that this would be a good toy for clit stimulation. Sadly, I found that it was better used during a sensual massage with my partner. It feels wonderful gliding across my breasts, nipples, neck and thighs.

This toy was great to use with my partner, but I also enjoyed using it alone in the bathtub for some pleasurable relaxation time. I was really let down by this toys ability to please me during clitoral use. The vibrations were not intense enough.

It is very user-friendly and would work well for all types of users (male/female, new or advanced).

Alia is made with velvety soft silicone on the outer ring, and plastic on the inner ring. The material is so soft that I was able to use it with or without lube. Alia is latex and phthalates free. One of the nice things about this type of material is that it doesn't have a smell or taste to it. You cannot boil Alia due to the plastic, and you will want to avoid using other silicone based toys or lubes. Also, avoid oil lubes as they can deteriorate your toy.

The center of the toy is made of plastic, which quickly had fingerprint marks all over it.

It's smooth oval shape allows for it to glide effortlessly across your body. The overall design is simple and elegant. The pink and gold pair beautifully on this toy. I was able to hold Alia with ease during use and the size was perfect. It measures 3 3/8" in length and fit perfectly in the palm of my hand. The shape allows for you to grasp the toy easily by sliding your finger through.

This toy would be perfect to travel. It doesn't look like an adult toy at first glance, and it's small enough to toss in your bag.

Alia has 6 different vibration patterns that you are able to change the intensity on.
1.Constant
2.Slow pulse
3.Fast pulse
4.Escalating intensity
5.Slow to high intensity then back down
6.Pulsates to a specific rhythm

The intensity wasn't enough for me and I found myself turning Alia round and round in hopes that I'd find a spot that was giving off stronger vibrations but I didn't.

The three buttons are easy to use and have a locking capability that you simply activate by holding down both the - and + button until the light turns off. The - button and + button are used to increase or decrease intensity levels, as well as turn the toy on or off. Lights will illuminate on the buttons every time you press them.

The noise level was higher than I was expecting, but it is still quiet enough that you could discreetly use it without worry of someone hearing in the other room. Occasionally, it would give off a high-pitched noise as I switched through the patterns.

Alia is waterproof and performed just as well in the bathtub as it did in bed. It's rechargeable and in order to charge it the first time you must press the plug through the material to insert it. LELO assures that making this hole will not interfere with its waterproof ability and I didn't have any issues.

Alia takes about 2 hours to charge and will last for up to 4 hours of play. During charging the keypad lights will pulse until fully charged, at which time they will stay lit until you remove the toy from the charger.

Alia's design is so simple and smooth that clean up is easy. I just washed with antibacterial soap and warm water. Patted dry and stored it in the silk bag that comes with purchase.

ONLY use water based lubes with this toy to preserve the silicone's soft feeling. I used the sample lube that came with purchase, and it felt like my skin was burning in about 10 seconds; I quickly wiped it off and threw the rest away.

Do not boil this toy! Use your favorite toy cleaner or antibacterial soap.
