Insignia Lyla 2 - remote control egg discontinued by LELO - review by AbbyS

I purchased Lyla 2 in the cherise color, it is a nice hot pink color. It was packaged as well as all the other Lelo toys. Included in the box are the egg, remote, instructions, warranty card, charger, 2 AAA batteries, black storage pouch, and the insignia pin which I will find a use for one of these days.

Lyla 2 has to be synced to the remote. You have to do this every time you use her. The syncing is easy and only takes a few seconds. If you have two Lelo Insignia devices, they will work off the same remote and frequency. For example, my husband has Oden 2 and I have Lyla 2. If I am using the Oden remote on him, it will also control Lyla. That isn't exactly good, in my opinion, because we do not have the same taste in vibrations.

While the egg itself is rechargeable, the remote is not. It takes 2 AAA batteries which last about two hours or so. I have not tested the exact range of the remote, but it seems very good. My husband can use the remote in the kitchen while I am in the bedroom. The battery charge takes two hours and lasts about two hours.

Lyla 2 has several vibration patterns ranging from a solid vibration, which you can control the intensity, to slow and fast pulses. There is something for every mood! The remote vibrates also so that the user can feel everything that the wearer can feel. This function can be turned off. It also has motion sense; meaning that you can control the remote by moving it not just by using the buttons. For example, if you raise your hand with the remote, the intensity gets stronger to the remote and to the wearer.

There are so many options with Lyla 2. She can be worn internally or externally. I like to wear her externally sometimes with a pair of tight panties. She is also fully waterproof (remote and egg). My favorite way to use it is in PUBLIC! Wow! It opens up a whole new world of fun! I do recommend turning off the remote vibration though as it is LOUD! The egg itself is not loud.

Since she is fully waterproof, cleaning is a breeze. You can use soap and water or a non-silicone toy cleaner.
