Remote function on the Insignia Lyla 2?

Can anyone confirm whether Lelo have carried over the stupid vibrating remote feature that couldn't be turned off on the last version of the Lyla rendering it utterly useless for it's intended purpose?

Does this remote control vibrate as well, and can it be turned off to use discreetly in public?

Thanks!

PS - EF I would like to review this please!

Also, are there any comparison reviews between this and the original Lyla?

The instructions state you are supposed to be able turn off the remote's vibration and that the remote will "remember" your preference to keep the vibration off. That being said, I was only able to turn off the remote's vibration in the pattern modes, not the SenseMotion modes. In addition, the remote didn't "remember" that I wanted the vibration off after I turned the remote off altogether. When I turned it back on, the remote was right back to vibrating in all of the patterns.

My review on the Lyla 2 was just published yesterday, and I'm uploading my video review as I type this. To answer your questions, the 2nd generation Lyla's remote DOES vibrate in both SenseMotion Modes, and it is not extremely quiet. You can turn the vibrations off in both the steady vibration mode and the patterned settings mode.

I have no experience with the 1st generation Lyla, but after reading the reviews on it, there do seem to be a few differences. The new one makes a better connection with the remote and doesn't drop the connection. And the new one seems to have a bit more power to it too.

If you have any other questions, I'm happy to help answer them as I can!

Hmm...this seemse a bit complicated. Maybe I'll wait for the 3rd generation which I'm sure will be even simpler.

The remote vibration function CAN be turned off. The remote is rather loud so you would want to turn it off in public.

Thank you for the comparison information from the original to the 2. I just ordered the second generation and cannot wait for it to arrive! This will be my first LELO product and from the reviews, I believe it was a good choice!
Thank you for all of the great information!

The remote can only be turned off in the standard (i.e. non-SenseMotion) modes. I found this really disappointing.
