First time mini G - g-spot vibrator by Cal Exotics - review by cookiesandcream

I was very excited to get this toy in the mail, but was a bit worried when I opened the box to find a half-naked woman staring at me in the packaging with the toy in the middle. I guess that comes along with a less expensive toy. Note to companies: not all consumers enjoy seeing this! Especially those who live with roommates and are trying to discreetly open and discard the packaging that our fun comes in.

After getting past that image, I found the size of the toy to be a bit small, but remembered that the product is a "first time" mini-G. The insertable length of the toy is 4 1/2 inches (total length is 5 1/2 inches) and the diameter is only 1 inch. Fairly standard for a G-spot toy, but I would prefer something a bit larger. The design is basically a straight toy with a velvety-smooth type texture that curves toward the end to stimulate the G-spot. The curve is fairly significant, and for those who are stimulated by the toy, I'm sure the angle is perfect, but not quite there for me unfortunately.

Before I ordered the toy I was happy to find that the toy was made of plastic (fairly safe) and was latex-free and phthalate-free. This is perfect for those who have latex allergies! Also, any lubricant can be used with this toy.

As I went to use the toy I did notice that there were two big lines or seams running up the length of the toy and a big hole where I guess the plastic didn't come together properly. Again, somewhat of a concern for me, but for the price, I suppose it's a case of "you get what you pay for." The control is located at the tip of the toy, which makes holding the toy a bit of an issue and caused me to inadvertently decrease the power setting once or twice while trying to use the vibrator.

Overall, I was disappointed with the weak vibrations of the toy. The noise from the toy was extremely loud - much louder than the majority of the other toys I own and with half of the vibration strength of the others. This is probably good for first-time users, but for more experienced or advanced users, try to find something a bit larger or better tailored for your body.
