About the Rotating Venus Penis... Well here we have a toy that though not entirely bad, I cannot in good form tell you is entirely good either. On the box it looks and seems like a great idea. Featured on the front you will see a typical blond model wearing the Venus Penis, with what certainly appears to be an orgasmic look on her face and a shaded picture of the toy implying the movement of the penis. Let me assure you that this box is incredibly deceiving and should be disregarded entirely. Now enough about the box and expectations of what's inside, and more about the toy itself.

The main part of the Rotating Venus Penis itself is made of a soft, pink Crystal Essence material produced by Cal Exotics that's soft enough not to hurt yet firm enough for easy insertion (with lube). The body of the Venus Penis appears to be some half-bird, half-butterfly with pleasure nubs on the front and back for clitoral and anal stimulation. It has wings intended to "flutter," and what was actually a surprisingly soft set of three highly adjustable elastic straps to hook around your waist and thighs. It also features a pink control panel with dual LED lit controls to adjust rotation speed and vibration strength separately, which is attached to the toy itself by about 36 inches of wire that likes to get in the way and tangle up with the straps on occasion.

The Rotating Venus Penis isn't all bad, it just doesn't seem to work the way Cal Exotics intended. For example, neither of the "pleasure nubs" reach far enough to be effective without tightening the straps to the extent of cutting off circulation, and the wings that are supposed to "Flutter and vibrate" just jam into the thighs of a smaller person and make it impossible to stand or walk without discomfort. The straps are actually elastic though, not that cheap vinyl, and have three silver snap clips to help get it on. It should adjust to fit almost any size person. The straps do however require a certain level of patience or skill to get on properly. Should you decide (as we did) that it's not fit for wearing around, or maybe don't feel like fumbling with straps and you simply wish to remove them and use this toy for foreplay, the straps will not simply "come off." They have to be irreparably cut off.

I wish that were all, but I'm not done yet. The final gripe about this toy is the fact that the rotating penis itself, the main selling point of this item, barely rotates at all and can hardly be felt once inside. And the toy itself could possibly be heard through closed doors (depending upon the density of said door.) Now if you're looking for a strap-on penetrating vibe, this toy may not be so bad for you as it has five different speeds for both the rotation and the vibration, controlled separately, and the vibrating part of the penis is actually pretty strong and effective. With the straps removed it makes an excellent foreplay tool. But if you order one with high hopes for the rotation/strap-on portion as we did, prepare for disappointment.

In our experience this toy is far more effective as a hand-held foreplay tool than for its original intended use.
