We have all heard of the famous (Hitachi) Magic Wands. Unless you have been living under a rock, you will know the lure of a wand vibrator. Wand vibrators consist of two main parts, the head and the handle. The head vibrates, often stronger than most similarly sized toys. These wands are mainly used for stimulation of your clit. The Pocket Wonder Wand is no different. However, this smaller wand offers more concentrated vibrations. For me, my clit is too sensitive for direct stimulation much of the time. This head concentrates the vibrations on a smaller area. For direct clitoral stimulation, I sometimes found this too intense. Instead, I enjoyed tucking the head of the toy between my pussy lips. I did find that with 30 vibration settings, it was hard to cycle to a particular setting since you would need to sort through the 29 other settings. So, if you have two favorite settings, you may get annoyed trying to find them among the many vibrations. The vibration button cycles the toy through the 30 vibration settings! I have never used a toy that has 30 vibration settings, so I was thrilled to have so many options. I found that many of the vibration patterns appeared fairly random. For example, one pattern started out as short-short-short-long, however, ever half minute or so there would be a long constant vibration. For those who like unpredictable vibrations or who get sick of the same old patterns, this toy will be great for you!

When the toy is on, a red indicator light will appear. This light also turns on when the toy is charging. This means that the light will turn off once the toy is fully charged, indicating you can remove the cable.



The strength of the vibrations is comparable to the lowest setting on my Magic Wand Rechargeable. This means that it is stronger than the vibrations on my cell phone and too strong to keep on my sensitive clit for extended periods of time. You would likely be able to hear this toy through a closed door if there were no background noises. However, if I put on some music or a white noise machine, you wouldn’t be able to tell I am pleasuring myself.

The only real downside I found to this toy was the fact that it heated up quickly. After six minutes of use for clitoral stimulation on the constant vibration setting, the toy became hot, like a mug of warm tea. This worried me, and I would often turn the toy off and manually stimulate myself while waiting for the toy to cool down. That said, when I tested out the vibration settings for my video review, the toy did not heat up as much, so perhaps some of that heat was a product of the toy’s proximity to my aroused core.

This toy is simple to care for. Since the toy is waterproof, I can wash it under warm water with antibacterial soap. If I have just used this wand over my panties, I simply wipe it down with a toy wipe. After washing the toy, make sure the toy is fully dry before storing it. The toy comes with a mesh bag, which is perfect for holding both the wand and the charging cable.



The charging cable has a USB connector on one end and a pin connector on the other. In the picture in this review, I have connected the cable to a USB port. The pin connector slips into a concealed hole at the base of the handle. Since there is a layer of silicone over this hole, it will not let water in while the cord is disconnected.

This toy came in the mesh storage bag. Within the mesh storage bag, the wand was in a plastic bag, and the charging cable was included as well. The product did not come with instructions; however, this toy was fairly self-explanatory.
