This is a large toy. I read the measurements and they seemed on the big side, but once I received it in the mail, I was surprised at how big it actually is...5.5" in circumference is pretty girthy! I would definitely not recommend this to a beginner, because the size is a bit much to take in, especially if you're unaccustomed to being penetrated by larger objects. The tip was curved and able to hit my g-spot with no problem at all. Since it's bendable, it can also be used against the clitoris while it is inside of you, but this takes a little adjusting and I found that it worked better for me if I used it internally while using a separate, small clitoral vibrator.

This is made of jelly (a 2 on Eden's safety scale). The packaging was marked phthalate-free, but it is worth mentioning that many people boycott all jelly toys since they can never be 100% sterilized and they may contain harmful chemicals. Some people have allergic reactions to jelly, and it can sometimes cause irritation.

The jelly is very pliable and rubbery-feeling. I really like that this toy has a bunch of different textures on it. The head is about 1" long and has four little ridges on it--it is curved for extra g-spot stimulation. Underneath the head is a cute little row of six raised-up hearts. The shaft is about 2" long and is very veiny The veins also extend on down to the back of the vibrator. The front's bottom insertable portion is made up of three rows of five raised scales.

If you don't have any qualms about using jelly toys, I think that they're good for beginners because the material is so squishy and forgiving. I definitely wouldn't recommend this particular toy to someone who had never used any toys at all before because it's so girthy, but if you're new to large vibrators, this might be a good one to start with, since 5.5" around of jelly is a little easier to insert than 5.5" around of say, hard plastic or another material that doesn't "give" as easily.

There is a faint rubber smell to the toy that has decreased some with repeated washings, but I haven't experienced any leakage, strong odors, or any other problems that I've read about some people having with other jelly toys.

I really like the design and overall shape of the toy, especially the myriad of textures, but I wish it was just a little bit thinner around. I've used a bunch of toys and tend to enjoy being penetrated by objects that are a little past comfortable on the size scale, but this is a tiny bit bigger than I would prefer. The tip could be slightly more curved and hit my g-spot a little better, but since jelly is so bendable, that's a pretty easy "problem" to work around. This is a great toy for thrusting!

It's a pretty good-looking toy for the price range. The veins and hearts are a nice touch. It's a lovely shade of red and there's silver glitter throughout the body. It's transparent enough that you can see the battery casing and the outline of the motor inside, but not actually all the way through the toy. It is the exact opposite of discreet; it's too large to hide easily, and if someone were to come across it, there's nothing they would assume it to be other than a sex toy.

The motor is in the center of the toy (almost 2" from the tip) and the vibrations carry fairly well through the jelly. I wish that the motor was a little bit higher since I prefer direct g-spot stimulation, but they're strong enough that I can feel them there, even though the motor's a few inches down.

The base has two buttons on the very bottom, underneath the battery compartment. One is a power button that immediately turns the toy off or on, and the other changes the vibration setting. The settings are as follows:
* strong, constant vibrations
* weaker constant vibrations
* very weak constant vibrations
* a quickly escalating constant vibration
* a weaker escalating constant
* quick pulsing
* quicker pulsing
* slow pulsing
* harder pulsing
* very weak pulsing

Some of the settings are pretty similar, but the differences between them are vast enough that I feel fairly confident in saying this has a good setting for just about everyone. I'd say they range from a 1-4 on the "vroom" scale.

I really love that it has an auto-off button. It's frustrating to use a toy that you have to cycle through all the settings in order to turn it off, especially if you're in a shared house where someone might be walking in on you! I also appreciate that they're below the battery compartment instead of placed on a dial; they're very easy to use and I don't ever hit them by accident while using it.

The toy is not incredibly loud, but I definitely wouldn't use it with someone nearby, especially if they have good hearing. If you're under a blanket, have the door closed, and have music softly playing, you'd probably be okay using this with a roommate unless your walls are incredibly thin.

This toy is waterproof and, while I haven't used it extensively in the water, I did not notice any leakage into the battery compartment when I did, so I feel comfortable saying it works fine in the water.

Jelly is unfortunately not the most sanitary of materials; it cannot be fully sterilized and can only be cleaned with water and toy cleaner (or a very mild soap). It should not be stored in extreme heat or direct sunlight. It's a bit of a magnet for hair and dust, so it might be best to rinse it off before each use.

Do not share jelly toys unless you're using a condom over them, and they are only compatible with water and silicone-based lubricants.
