Luxe Empower by California Exotics is a multi-speed, multi-function vibrator. It could easily hit shallow g-spots, but it's intended use is for clitoral stimulation. It feels great against the nipples, chest, inner thighs and other erogenous zones, too!

This is a wonderful toy for beginners and advanced users alike. Because of it's multi-speed and multi-function capabilities there's a setting on this toy for just about anyone. It can easily be used solo or control can be handed over to a partner for a lot of fun.

Luxe is really quiet, even on its highest setting, so it's very discreet which is great for campus/roommate living and it's waterproof so don't hesitate to bring this little gem into the shower or bath.

Luxe feels amazing to the touch. It's made of luxurious body-safe silicone, which rates as a ten out of ten on Eden's Material Safety Guide. If it wasn't good enough already, it's also made of a food-grade material, it's hypo-allergenic, latex-free, non-porous and phthalates-free.

There is no discernible scent or taste to this toy, even straight out of the box. It's not sticky, bumpy or rough in the slightest.

It's silky smooth with a raised ridge on the tip with three indents within the ridge for added texture and awesomeness. There is a visible seam running lengthwise down the center of either side of the toy, but it's not felt while in use.

Regardless if you're just getting started with toys or if you're on the more experienced end of the spectrum, this is a great pick.

Luxe is sort of shaped like the letter 'S' but in my opinion it's shaped a bit like a seahorse, when looking at it from either side.

It's separated into two sections by a silver-colored plastic band in the center. The top section is a lighter pink and is a bit movable, but it really isn't bendy enough to be considered flexible. The bottom section is a bit darker pink in color and is where the toy is controlled and also where the batteries are inserted. It's hard, not even the slightest bit movable and has a satin finish making it feel really soft and silky.

It measures 5 inches in length with its biggest circumference around the base being 4 3/4 inches so it's pretty average as far as toys go, but it seems bigger due to the s-shaped curve.

While you can't fit Luxe into a pocket or really small purse, it can easily be packed into a larger bag or suitcase for travel. Remember to remove the batteries before packing it and you'll have no issues at all.

The design makes this toy really easy to use, too. Holding it at the base you can press either the tip of the toy against your clit directly or you can turn it sideways and press it against a larger area. I found that when pressing the tip directly against my clit, it was a little too much for me, but I really enjoyed how it felt sideways.

Luxe is a multi-speed, multi-function vibrator. It has seven settings operated by 2 AAA batteries and controlled from the base of the toy.

Turning Luxe on immediately starts it on the first setting. Pushing the button above the power button will allow you to cycle through the rest of the settings. Each setting also has orange lights that match the vibration or pulsing, which is interesting but barely visible unless you're in complete darkness.

Speeds and functions:

1. Low vibrations, steady.
2. Medium vibrations, steady.
3. High vibrations, steady.
4. Long pulsation, medium speed.
5. Short pulsation, medium speed.
6. Fast pulsation, high speed.
7. Four short pulsations on medium speed, one long pulsation, high speed.

The controls are really easy to use, but not so easy to push that they can be bumped into a different setting. The buttons aren't noisy when pushed, either.

Luxe is really quiet when it's on. So quiet that I actually questioned whether or not it was working properly initially. It cannot be heard through closed doors and when using any of the first three settings, it can't even be heard from under the covers, although settings four through seven can be heard from under covers.

Don't hesitate to bring Luxe into the shower or bathtub as it's entirely waterproof.

Because Luxe Empower is made of silicone it's really easy to take care of. The top section can be held in boiling water for 3 minutes or the boiling water can be dumped over it. It can also be cleaned with an anti-bacterial soap and water, isopropyl alcohol wipe, a toy cleaner wipe or with a 10% bleach solution. Putting this in the dishwasher is not recommended.

After washing, dry with a lint-free towel or cloth or let it air dry completely and then store in any cool, dry place where you store toys. Because silicone is notorious for attracting lint, dust and dirt, be sure to wipe this toy down before each use.

Silicone is only compatible with water-based lubricants, so steer clear of oil or silicone-based lubricants to keep this toy lasting as long as possible.

This toy came in a small, plastic package with minimal information on it. It's partially see-through, so it's not the most discreet box ever. There were no instructions for use, care or maintenance of this toy in the box, but it does direct users to the website for warranty information and product registration.

Luxe Empower could easily be stored in it between uses. This toy would be a great gift for someone who's looking for a clitoral vibrator.

If you don't plan on storing your toy in the box, it is fully recyclable.

While silicone is not porous at all, I still recommend always using a toy cover or condom when sharing toys.

I loved this toy from the second I took it out of the box. It's so soft that I immediately put batteries in it and switched it on to see how it felt all over me. I slowly started to cycle through the settings in all the areas I was touching to figure out what I like the most (number seven in the cycle is my favorite). This toy makes is a great tease and makes for one hell of a build up all before it even touches my lady bits.

This is my new go-to toy and I imagine it will be for a while. This is a great toy.
