Wanderlust - rabbit vibrator discontinued by Vibratex - review by PassionQT

"Wanderlust" is defined as "a strong longing for or impulse toward wandering", and that's exactly what this toy will do, if your attention doesn't go wandering away from it first! It's a dual-action vibrator with a tickling clitoral stimulator and a rotating/vibrating main shaft, designed to pleasure a woman's most intimate bits simultaneouslty or separately. Any level of user might enjoy it, but if you are looking for a top-of-the-line, more durable toy, there are better ones out there for the same price or less.

MATERIAL & TEXTURE
This one has a plastic handle, and the shaft is a purple sleeve made of a very soft, squishy, latex and phthalates-free elastomer. It's relatively body-safe, being just semi-porous, so it cannot be sterilized. The overall texture is smooth, but a thumb-pull across the surface yields an audible scratching sound as the material strecthes/drags under the pressure. It is a lint magnet and there is little smell or taste. There is a visible seam and a few bubbles on the surface, none of which can be felt during use.

SIZE & GENERAL DESIGN
Vibratex, the Japanese manufacturer of this toy, got the size right, at least in relation to my body. It's neither too long or too short, nor too thin or too thick. There's 4 inches of insertable length and the diameter of the round tip, which is the largest part, is roughly 1-1/2 inches, but it's not completely round so it may be a bit longer in one direction that the other. Because the material is so squishy, it's easy to insert. For storage purposes, the overall length of the toy is just shy of 8-1/2 inches, with the handle making up the lower 2.5 inches.

The design is the basic rabbit/dual-action style. The main shaft has a large round, easy-on-the-cervix tip that tapers down to a few smaller, but wide, rings. The head simulates the bulbous head of a penis popping in and out, without looking like one, but it's a nice feeling if you enjoy thrusting your toys. This one is best "buried" inside while you squeeze it with your pelvic muscles and let the clitoral stimulator tease its target. Speaking of the later, it looks like some freakish butterfly with multiple antennae. The underside has several soft ticklers and covers a broad area, which is nice. On the downside, it doesn't provide firm enough pressure against the clitoris, because the elastomer is so stretchy that I can literally twist the clitoral tickler in a circle.

FUNCTIONS
This toy takes 3-AA batteries which are inserted in the slide-off back of the white handle. The unit is powered on by two slider bar switches: one for the motor in the clitoral stimulator and another for the main shaft. Neither side is marked as to which does what, not that it's hard to figure out. This type of mechanism is easily triggered, so just try not to turn it off when you are seconds away from that exploding orgasm. All speeds are a constant low to high.

The intensity is great, I'll give it that. Nice power, to which I owe an orgasm. It is on the noisy side though, so if you are looking to be discreet, bury yourself under the covers.

CARE
Wash with warm water and antibacterial soap. The until is not waterproof so try not to get the handle wet. Use with either a water-based or silicone lubricant. Store away from lint, heat, and keep it from touching other toys if you can.

Really, it's too bad the clitoral stimulator is so loose, because it's a soft toy, not painful to use at for a sensitive vagina. I don't think I'd drop $75 on it though!

I "wander" what happened to this one? It failed to leave me wanting to use it again. It's just a mediocre rabbit vibe, nothing to scream about, although it did make me orgasm, but it took longer than my go-to vibe.
