In Joy Yourself

This has a very good concept behind it, but fails to deliver. If you like milder, gentler sex then this could work for you, but don't expect a spectacular finale.

In Joy Self Pleasurizer by Lady Calston sounds like every girl's dream: A self thrusting vibrator. Strap it on, lay back, and enjoy the ride, right? Not quite.

This toy is intended to take the leg(arm)work out of masturbation. It is designed with a shaft that thrusts on its own, and removable straps for a hands-free experience. The base of this is flared, but I would not recommend anal use due to the Trueskin material it's made of being highly porous.

This is not waterproof, therefore it cannot be used in a shower or tub. It is large enough that it wouldn't be well to travel with, and the control pack attached to it is a little on the hefty side. This toy needs to be stored in a cool dark place to avoid melting, and cleaned well with soap and warm water before and after each and every use. I suggest storing it in a large ziploc bag away from other toys.

Trueskin is made of TPE composites; which is a mix of rubber and plastic. It is highly porous and extremely sensitive, so care needs to be taken with this in order to preserve its lifespan. Condom use is strongly recommended, especially when sharing, to prevent spreading bacteria and possibly causing infections.

The 7 inch long shaft has a self thrusting apparatus inside, which causes it to go up and down on its own. It's pretty nifty to start with, but it is lacking in the stamina department. It takes some maneuvering to hit your g spot with this, since the thrusting is just a straight up and down motion. The shaft is not curved at all, so you need to figure out what way works best for you. I found that placing this on a flat surface and sitting on it was the best for me. The thing that worries me about something like this that is self thrusting is that I am nervous to sit down all the way onto it. My muscles slow it down a little as it is, let alone going balls deep with it. I have tried to get it in all the way but I am nervous I would burn out the motor in the shaft.

Another motor is inside the balls at the base, and this is where the vibration is concentrated. There are veins on the top of the balls and raised nubs to add stimulation for the clitoris. The balls are also soft and squishy except where the motor sits. The vibration is adequate, but spread out which leaves little room for pinpoint stimulation. If you like vulva stimulation it might work well.

This comes with a removable T shaped strap. It is stretchy, and the measures out to about 34" around where (I think?) your legs would go, at maximum before it starts to get thin. It fits my legs size wise, but I can't figure out if I have it on right or what. If you are familiar with harnesses and straps you can probably figure this out pretty easily, but this is the first toy I have had with anything like that. It can be used as a strap on for couples, or to strap onto yourself for hands free action.

The suction cup is just a flat piece of rubber attached at the base. It does not hold at all, unless it is standing up on a flat surface. So you wouldn't be able to use this on a wall, but if you want to stick it on the floor it can hold up. I'm not familiar with harnesses so I cannot say if it would work well with one or not, but it looks to be O Ring compatible. However it is so flimsy that it may not work.

This toy measures 8 inches long from the base to the tip of the head. 5 inches are insertable,
it has a diameter of 1.5 inches, and the balls are 3 inches long x 2.5 inches wide.

It is connected to its battery operated control pack (reminds me of the 80's) by a 28 inch cord. The control pack is 9 inches long and about 1 3/4 inches around, making it pretty hefty. It takes 4 C batteries, which would make one assume that there is some power behind this beast.

There are two dials to power the toy: one for vibration and one for thrusting. Simply spin one or the other up to get going. This is kind of like a rabbit in terms of function, I.E the thrusting and vibration, when on together, won't be as strong as they would be used individually.
Experience
There is an adequate amount of power behind this, but for those of us who like rough sex (or to finish off that way) it may fail to deliver an orgasm. I have come close (pun intended) with this, but I tend to go a little crazy as I climax and I want it hard and fast.

Use fresh batteries with this to get the maximum pleasure out of it. I am finding that C batteries do not last very long, and it really sucks because they help give toys more power. I am still glad I got this, though, and will continue using it.
